This role is responsible for ensuring delivery of financial commitments by enabling data-driven trade-offs across functions, integrating insights from Customer Engagement, commercial, medical affairs, market access, pricing, and gross-to-net elements (rebates, discounts, reserves).

The FEP - TA is also a key connector to the global team and partners strongly with PT for managing inventories, with RD to understand pipeline possibilities and partnership in clinical studies, with HQ to provide transparency in our commercial results and strategies.

The ideal candidate connects financial rigor with operational realities, driving alignment across the business to maximize value, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable growth.

  • Lead budgeting, trade-off discussions and investments priorities for the Therapeutic Area and portfolio under their responsibility and long-range planning for the product portfolio.

  • Monitor performance versus plan and identify risks and opportunities early.

  • Develop driver-based models reflecting volume, price, payer mix, and access dynamics.

  • Translate operational metrics into financial outcomes.

  • Oversee the financial forecasting and Month-end reliability of figures for Squad expenses.

Gross-to-Net & Revenue Management:

  • Oversee financial modeling of pricing, contracting, rebates, chargebacks, discounts, and reserves.

  • In-depth understanding of reserves and owning voluntary reserves decision making and scenario mapping conversations with Squads.

  • Partner with Access and Pricing to evaluate contracting strategies and payer negotiations.

  • Ensure accurate revenue forecasting and reserve adequacy.

Cross-Functional Integration:

  • Connect insights across Customer Engagement effectiveness, Commercial programs, Medical initiatives, and Access strategies.

  • Facilitate alignment meetings to ensure coordinated decisions across functions.

  • Serve as the financial “single source of truth” for portfolio performance.

  • Partner with different functions as needed to enable the conversations and allow holistic Squad conversations and prioritization.

Decision Support & Trade-Off Analysis:

  • Evaluate ROI of commercial investments and promotional programs.

  • Support prioritization of limited resources across products and initiatives.

  • Provide clear recommendations that balance short-term commitments and long-term value.

Governance & Reporting:

  • Oversee executive-level reporting on portfolio performance and risks.

  • Support financial reviews, business cases, and investment approvals.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Level of Influence: High; must influence cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and resources.

  • Exposure: High frequency of managing executive stakeholders with assertiveness and confidence.
