Short version: Six Figure Work has no accounts and no forms, and we collect no personal data from visitors beyond the server logs and the Google Analytics counts described below.
What we keep about visitors
- Access logs. Our web server writes one line per request: your IP address, the page you asked for (including any search terms in the address) and the response status. We use the logs to keep the service running and to stop abuse. Log files are deleted by automatic rotation, so no line is kept longer than 30 days.
- Short-lived rate-limit memory. To enforce the per-address request limit, the server remembers recent request times per IP address in memory for about a minute. This is not written to disk.
- Email you send us. If you email [email protected], we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
We do not keep a browser user agent in our logs and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and trackers
Our pages load Google Analytics (the Google tag) to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics may set its own cookies and receives your IP address and basic browser and page details, under Google's privacy policy. We use it for aggregate counts only, not for advertising and not to build profiles of visitors. Our pages load no advertising and no third-party fonts. Cloudflare (below) sits in front of the site and may use its own security cookies or scripts to detect abusive traffic; we do not control those.
Cloudflare
The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes every request to the site and may keep its own logs and security data under its own policies: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. We do not control that data and it is not covered by our 30-day log rotation.
Applicant data
We do not handle applications. When you apply, you do it on the employer's site and their privacy policy applies. We never see your resume or your details.
Information on the listings
Listings contain what employers published on their own public job boards. Where a listing shows a contact email, it is the one the employer published in that posting. We do not add personal data about individuals. If something about you or your company should not be shown, see removal requests.
Where it runs
The website runs on a cloud server in the United States. We do not sell log data or give it to anyone for their own use.
Ask what we hold about you
Anyone can email [email protected] to ask what we hold about them. The answer is: the access-log lines described above, which are deleted by rotation within 30 days, plus any email you sent us. Logs are tied only to an IP address, so we may ask for your address and the approximate time. We can delete the email you sent us on request.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
