About this job
About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
We are looking for an Analyst, Deal Operations to help drive Ramp’s next phase of growth! Reporting to the Senior Manager, Deal Desk, you’ll be a key partner in taking our Sales organization to the next level, responsible for quoting, pricing structure, and contracting for our Sales team. You'll be an integral part of the Deal Operations team with a focus on offering guidance to drive deal execution while complying with company policies and procedures and ensuring consistency to manage risk. You’ll work directly with our Sales, Legal, Accounting, and cross-functional leadership to better streamline efficient workflows and enhance sales productivity.
What You'll Do
Quote & contract approvals — review and approve quotes and contract workflows within policy; escalate exceptions with clear context
Feature & subscription activation — enable product tiers, configure accounts, and manage trial extensions, and coordinate billing
Policy & process guidance — be the first line of support for AEs with questions about deal structure, approval requirements, and process
Playbook development — document what you learn; help build the SOPs and escalation guides that make this function scalable
Drive consistency across deal processes by helping to optimize, streamline, and automate quote-to-cash processes
Serves as a subject matter expert on deal constructs, operational procedures, approval policies, and controls
What You Need
3-5 years in a Deal Desk environment, preferably in a high growth SaaS company.
Experience with Salesforce, CPQ, and other sales-related systems, including pricing and data enrichment tools.
Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
Excellent project management instincts, with an ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
You have a “get things done” mentality; you can dissect problems, identify solutions, and drive these solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy.
