  • Ability to troubleshoot application, flow, connector, integration, security, and performance issues and implement maintainable resolutions.
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting technical designs, conducting demonstrations, supporting user-acceptance testing, and translating technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop solutions that comply with government security, privacy, accessibility, records-management, and data-governance requirements.
  • Ability to support on-site and hybrid work for U.S. Department of State stakeholders in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Prior experience supporting the U.S. Department of State, a foreign affairs agency, or another national security or civilian federal client.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate certification or comparable current Microsoft Power Platform certification.
  • Experience extending Power Platform with JavaScript or TypeScript, C#, JSON, HTML, Dataverse plug-ins, custom APIs, custom connectors, or Power Apps Component Framework controls.
  • Experience with Power Platform CLI, Azure DevOps or GitHub, automated build and release processes, deployment pipelines, and managed solutions.
  • Experience with Power Pages, Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or Azure integration services.
  • Experience establishing or applying Power Platform governance, environment strategy, data-loss-prevention policies, Center of Excellence practices, monitoring, auditing, and adoption standards.
  • Experience applying automated testing, performance analysis, accessibility testing, peer review, user-acceptance testing, and quality assurance to business applications and workflows.
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications, manual workflows, spreadsheets, or SharePoint-based processes into maintainable Power Platform solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create concise technical documentation, executive-ready briefings, training materials, and user guidance.
