The team connects business priorities with responsible AI capability development, product delivery, adoption, and value realization across Commercial, Medical Affairs, External Affairs, and partner functions.

The Director, AI Product Delivery Owner is accountable for the vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and lifecycle performance of AI-enabled products supporting Commercial, Medical Affairs, and External Affairs across US and International markets. The role works closely with business owners and end users and connects their needs with experience design, architecture, data science, engineering, governance, and adoption capabilities to deliver measurable product outcomes.

  • Build understanding of business strategies, workflows, pain points, and opportunities through engagement with leaders, SMEs, and end users.
  • Translate opportunities and user needs into requirements, epics, stories, priorities, and success measures.

  • Lead product discovery and delivery with UX, architecture, data science, engineering, platforms, analytics, governance, and adoption teams.
  • Define MVP and release scope, with evidence-based criteria for pilot, launch, scale, optimization, maintenance, and retirement decisions.
  • Establish decision rights and operating rhythms across business, product, technology, governance, and operations stakeholders.
  • Partner with security, privacy, legal, regulatory, compliance, and responsible AI teams to embed requirements and controls into product plans.
  • Plan adoption and operational readiness, including engagement, communications, training, support, feedback, workflow integration, and post-launch ownership.
  • Monitor value, adoption, user experience, quality, performance, risk, and cost to guide improvements and investments.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, computer science, information systems, data science, design, or related discipline.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, product ownership, digital transformation, business technology, or AI-enabled solution delivery, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience owning complex products from discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, measurement, and optimization is required.

Required Knowledge/Skills

  • Advanced product management skills, including strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, backlogs, requirements, and outcome measurement.
  • Ability to understand business functions and workflows and translate them into scalable product decisions.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, analytics, data products, intelligent workflows, and agent-based solutions.
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs across value, feasibility, risk, responsible AI, compliance, cost, and sustainability.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including process mapping, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, clarify decisions, resolve ambiguity, and align matrixed teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, facilitation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to manage dependencies and maintain momentum across business, design, data, engineering, architecture, governance, and adoption teams.
  • Ability to balance global reuse with market-specific needs.
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable with shifting priorities.
