We are seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to serve as Director, Business Transformation. This role will lead complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that improve how ICF works, strengthen operating discipline, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
The Director will lead execution of high-impact transformation programs, partnering closely with executives and cross-functional leaders to manage complex initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and delivering measurable results. Success in this role will require the ability to facilitate collaborative problem-solving sessions using human-centered design and system thinking approaches—helping stakeholders understand root causes, surface practical options, and align on solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Transformation in ICF’s Business Transformation Office (BTO), this leader will be accountable for driving execution success of enterprise-wide software transformation projects with cross-functional governance structures, complex workflow redesigns, and multiple data and system integrations. Projects may include a source-to-pay vendor management system, a capture-to-closeout contract lifecycle management system, cross-functional AI workflows among others. The Director will also support the development of the transformation roadmap, set standards for execution excellence, and represent the portfolio in executive forums and steering committees.
Experience leading the design, build, test, rollout, and adoption of software-enabled business transformation projects is highly preferred, along with an understanding of U.S. federal government contracting environments and the operating needs of project-focused organizations.
