A Brief Overview

The Director, Global Finance Stewardship & Communications supports the VP, Enterprise & Global Finance Strategy and the Chief Financial Officer in advancing the effectiveness, alignment, and communication of the Global Finance organization. The role serves as a key extension of the CFO Office, supporting Finance communications, organizational engagement, change management, executive support activities, and strategic coordination efforts that help ensure Finance priorities are clearly communicated, organizational changes are effectively implemented, and leadership objectives are consistently reinforced across the organization. Working closely with the VP, Enterprise & Global Finance Strategy, the role serves as a central coordinator for Finance-wide communications, leadership messaging, change initiatives, employee engagement efforts, executive materials, and organizational support activities. The role provides critical capacity for the CFO Office by coordinating Board and Executive Committee support materials, earnings-related communications and preparation activities, organizational communications, leadership events, and enterprise-facing Finance initiatives. The role focuses on communication, coordination, engagement, organizational effectiveness, and leadership support rather than ownership of Finance strategy or transformation delivery. Ownership of Finance strategy, operating model decisions, strategic assessments, business cases, transformation priorities, and executive leadership activities remains with the CFO, VP, Enterprise & Global Finance Strategy, Global Finance COO, and functional leaders. The Director supports these activities through communication, change management, stakeholder engagement, executive preparation, and coordination efforts that enable successful execution.

What you will do

  • Support the VP, Enterprise & Global Finance Strategy in developing and executing communication and engagement strategies that reinforce Finance priorities, organizational changes, leadership objectives, and strategic initiatives; translate complex information into clear, practical messaging tailored to employees, leaders, and other key stakeholder groups.
  • Draft and coordinate Finance-wide communications, organizational updates, strategy messaging, executive presentations, town hall content, and supporting materials; partner with Corporate Communications and other stakeholders to ensure key messages are consistent across geographies and functions, aligned with broader enterprise messaging and communication standards, and supported by effective channels and engagement approaches.
  • Support Finance transformation and organizational initiatives through change planning, stakeholder engagement, communication, readiness, and adoption activities; develop change impact assessments, stakeholder maps, communication plans, readiness activities, and supporting materials under the direction of the VP and accountable initiative leaders.
  • Coordinate change management activities across multiple Finance initiatives, identifying communication dependencies, adoption risks, organizational readiness considerations, and opportunities to improve outcomes; monitor engagement, readiness, and adoption indicators and recommend actions that help leaders address communication gaps, reinforce evolving expectations, and support employees through change.
  • Develop, draft, and coordinate executive communications and materials supporting the CFO, VP, Enterprise & Global Finance Strategy, and Finance leadership, including leadership messages, strategy and priority updates, talking points, presentations, briefing materials, reports, town hall content, change communications, and enterprise-facing Finance communications.
  • Coordinate executive materials supporting Board meetings, Executive Committee discussions, earnings activities, leadership offsites, town halls, and other senior leadership forums; manage stakeholder input, review cycles, approvals, message alignment, and delivery timelines while maintaining high standards of clarity, consistency, quality, professionalism, discretion, and executive presence.
  • Support the VP, Enterprise & Global Finance Strategy in coordinating Finance priorities, organizational initiatives, leadership activities, and strategic programs; maintain visibility into major activities, dependencies, risks, decisions, and stakeholder needs, consolidate relevant updates, and surface matters requiring leadership attention.
  • Prepare presentations, progress updates, leadership materials, and supporting content for strategic and organizational discussions; coordinate follow-up and action tracking arising from leadership forums, organizational initiatives, and strategic reviews, and conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis supporting leadership decisions, executive communications, and organizational priorities.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen engagement, transparency, collaboration, organizational health, and leadership effectiveness across Global Finance; partner with Human Resources and Finance leaders to develop content, materials, and engagement activities for town halls, leadership forums, offsites, leadership development efforts, and other programs designed to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from leaders and employees to identify themes, risks, opportunities, and communication needs requiring leadership attention; support Finance leaders in communicating priorities, navigating organizational change, reinforcing desired behaviors and cultural expectations, and creating consistency in how priorities, decisions, expectations, and organizational messages are cascaded across Global Finance.
