The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and experience in power distribution, load flow analysis, low voltage, (medium voltage a plus), and lighting design.

As a pivotal member of our team, you'll be instrumental in creating and implementing state-of-the-art electrical design solutions, elevating the standards of manufacturing plant efficiency and safety for our manufacturing clients in the food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods sectors. We offer multiple career tracks for advancement, including a technical track, ensuring that your career growth is aligned with your strengths and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Leadership and Management: Take charge of large-scale, complex electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. This involves strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints. As a seasoned professional, you will also play a key role in making critical decisions that affect the overall direction and success of the projects.

  • Technical Innovation and Advanced Problem Solving: Lead the research and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in electrical engineering. This includes developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges, staying abreast of the latest industry trends, and applying advanced problem-solving skills to enhance the technical capabilities of the organization.

  • Organizational Leadership and Influence: Act as a senior representative of the electrical engineering team in cross-departmental initiatives, contributing to organizational strategy and decision-making. This role involves influencing company policies and procedures related to engineering practices, fostering a culture of excellence, and representing the company's engineering interests in external forums, conferences, and professional bodies.

  • Electrical Design Leadership: Spearhead electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and integrating power, lighting, and fire alarm systems seamlessly.

  • NEC Mastery: Apply an in-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code to craft designs that meet the utmost safety and quality benchmarks.

  • Advanced Power Distribution: Design robust power distribution systems, skilled in both low and medium voltage applications, tailored to the specific needs of cutting-edge manufacturing plants.

  • Expert Load Flow Analysis: Optimize power distribution through precise load flow analysis, enhancing energy efficiency.

  • Innovative Lighting Design: Craft lighting solutions that boost safety, productivity, and energy conservation.

  • Collaborative Facilities Design: Engage in multidisciplinary projects, offering your electrical engineering expertise to forge comprehensive solutions.

  • Software Proficiency: Utilize leading software like Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD for sophisticated modeling and simulation.

  • Client Interaction: Directly collaborate with clients to align our electrical solutions with their unique objectives.

  • Leadership in Team Dynamics: Play a pivotal role in leading project teams, demonstrating exceptional management skills. You will be responsible for guiding team efforts towards successful project completion, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Mentorship and Professional Development: Act as a mentor to junior engineers and other team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
