About this job

About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler.

We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.

Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

The Role

Our Executive Assistant function sits within the CEO Office and keeps Legora's leadership operationally aligned. You'll report directly to the Chief of Staff to our CEO and support our Chief Product Officer and Chief Information Officer.

This isn't a traditional EA role. We're looking for someone who treats their own workflow as something to engineer: you automate the repetitive, try new tools before anyone asks, and know what's happening across the business well enough to act before you're told. You'll work closely with senior leadership, build relationships across the company, and have room to take on work well beyond the job title.

As Legora scales, this role scales with it. Where it goes is partly up to you, whether that's business operations, people-focused work, or team leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Run the operating rhythm for two executives. Own calendars, inboxes, travel and expenses for our CPO and CIO. Design their time around shifting priorities, not just available slots.

  • Automate and improve your own work. Use AI and automation to cut manual effort from scheduling, triage, prep, follow-ups and reporting. Test new tools, keep what works, and share it with the team.

  • Stay ahead of the business. Track what's happening across product, IT and the wider company so you can anticipate needs, flag conflicts early and connect the right people.

  • Make every meeting count. Coordinate internal and external meetings across time zones, with clear prep beforehand and crisp follow-up after.

  • Own team moments. Plan and run recurring meetings, offsites, L&D workshops and informal gatherings.

  • Keep communication clean. Triage inbound requests, protect focus time, and write updates that say what matters in as few words as possible.

  • Wear whatever hat is needed. Pick up project coordination, operational initiatives and ad hoc problems that don't fit neatly anywhere, and see them through.

  • Fix how things work. Spot friction in team processes and build better systems instead of working around them.

What You Bring

  • 6+ years in Executive Assistant, Business Operations or similar roles, ideally in a high-growth tech company or international startup.

  • A track record of automating your own workflows. You can point to tools, AI assistants, templates or automations you've set up that saved real time.

  • Genuine curiosity about new tools. You're usually the first to try something and the one who figures out how the team should use it.

  • Strong operational awareness. You see how the pieces of a business connect and notice when something is about to slip.

  • Concise, confident communication, including in sensitive or high-stakes situations. Your messages are short, clear and easy to act on.

  • Adaptability. You adjust to different leaders' working styles and stay effective across changing priorities, teams and environments.

  • A collaborative approach. You build trust with stakeholders at every level and work well across functions.

  • Comfort outside your lane. You're happy to wear multiple hats and lean into work beyond your formal scope when it helps the team.

  • High discretion, sound judgment and ownership of outcomes.

  • Fluency with Google Workspace, Slack and Notion, plus the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

What's In It For You

  • Global collaboration: Partner with teams and clients across EMEA, NORAM, APAC, and LATAM.

  • Competitive package: Comprehensive salary, benefits, and tools for success.

  • Meaningful work: Your efforts shape how thousands of lawyers use AI daily.

  • In-person environment: Union Square office designed for ambitious builders.

  • Benefits & Perks: We invest in our people with a comprehensive, thoughtfully designed benefits package:
    Medical, Dental & Vision

    • Multiple medical plan options via Aetna and Kaiser Permanente

    • HSA or Healthcare FSA (based on plan selection)

    • Dental plans via MetLife

    • Vision plans via Vision Care

  • Family Support

    • Generous parental leave

    • Free access to Maven Clinic

    • Dependent Care FSA

    • Free One Medical membership for employees and dependents

  • Additional Perks

    • Pre-tax commuter benefits

    • Life Insurance + STD/LTD

    • 401(K) with generous company match

    • Unlimited PTO

    • Robust voluntary benefits, including identity protection (via Aura), legal coverage via MetLife, pet savings programs, and more
