About this job
About Crexi
Commercial real estate is one of the largest asset classes on earth and one of the last to go digital. Deals still get done over email threads, PDFs, and relationships nobody can search for. Crexi is the exchange betting that doesn't have to be true anymore: we're building the platform where an entire industry finds, evaluates, and closes deals, and we're betting hard on AI to get there faster than anyone thought this industry could move. There's no playbook for turning a trillion-dollar, relationship-driven industry into a modern marketplace which means the people building it get to write it.
Crexi is looking for a GTM Automation Engineer to join our team hybrid in Los Angeles.
What You'll Do:
The GTM Automation Engineer builds and runs the AI-driven workflows that help Crexi's go-to-market teams reach the right brokers, investors, and owners at the right moment, with less manual work. Crexi's marketplace generates a constant stream of first-party activity, from searches and listing views to saved properties and auction participation, and this role turns that activity, along with CRM, enrichment, and conversation data, into signals and automations that reps actually use. The GTM Automation Engineer takes defined projects from prototype to production across Crexi's sales, marketing, and revenue stack, works side by side with the SDR, Sales, and Marketing teams who rely on these tools, and owns the results. Success is measured by the meetings, pipeline, and revenue each build creates, not by the number of workflows shipped.
- Prospecting and research automation: Build and own automated workflows for account research, prospect prioritization, and outreach drafting, with human review steps that keep reps in control of anything that reaches a customer.
- Data sourcing and enrichment: Develop and maintain sourcing and enrichment pipelines, using tools such as Clay and Exa, that deliver clean, deduplicated records to Salesforce, HubSpot, and downstream sales tools, with safe CRM writes that respect API limits.
- Signals and scoring: Combine marketplace activity, CRM history, enrichment, and conversation data into signals, scores, and Slack alerts that tell reps who to engage and why, and show managers where to focus coaching.
- AI agents and integrations: Integrate LLMs and agent workflows across the GTM stack, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Gong, Qualified, Slack, and Snowflake, using AI where it improves outcomes and simpler rules where it does not.
- Measurement: Instrument every build from launch and report its impact on meetings booked, pipeline created, conversion rates, and rep time saved, partnering with Revenue Operations on baselines and attribution.
- Time with the field: Spend regular time with SDRs, Account Executives, and Marketing, including shadowing prospecting blocks and reviewing Gong calls, to find the highest-leverage problems, turn them into requirements, and ship improvements based on feedback.
- Reliability and quality: Own the health of production automations through monitoring, alerting, retries, and evaluation sets for LLM outputs. Diagnose and fix failures, data issues, and model regressions, and escalate issues with broader business impact to Revenue Operations.
- Governance and compliance: Build within Crexi data governance, security, and privacy standards, including applicable outreach consent and opt-out requirements (for example, CAN-SPAM for email and TCPA for calls and texts) and the responsible handling of customer data shared with AI vendors.
- Build vs. buy: Evaluate GTM and AI tools with working prototypes, recommend whether to build, buy, or extend, and help Crexi get full value from the native AI features of tools it already licenses.
- Documentation: Document systems, data flows, prompts, and runbooks so Revenue Operations and GTM leaders can understand, trust, maintain, and extend them.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in GTM engineering, growth or revenue operations, software or data engineering, or a similar technical role supporting or closely partnering with a revenue team.
- Proven track record of working across cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Engineering, and delivering measurable business results, such as gains in pipeline, conversion, or team productivity.
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based applications or automations to production users. Internal tools count, and candidates are encouraged to share a repo, portfolio, or short demo.
- Hands-on experience with Clay, Search API, Gong, or Qualified, and with sourcing and structuring external data at scale. Preferred.
- Experience with Snowflake or dbt, or with syncing warehouse data back into the CRM. Preferred.
- Background in experimentation or analytics, and prior work supporting SDR or outbound sales teams. Preferred.
- Experience in commercial real estate, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS. Preferred.
Who You Are:
- You know your way around Salesforce or HubSpot and tools like Outreach and Clay, down to how their data is structured and how their APIs connect.
- You build in Python or TypeScript and treat integrations like real software: version-controlled, tested, and deployed with care.
- You use AI coding assistants like Claude Code or Cursor to move faster, and you don’t let speed lower the quality of what ships.
- You’ve built with large language models and know where they shine and where they don’t. You think carefully about prompts, context, tools, and evaluation, and you’re the first to say when AI isn’t the answer.
- You’re comfortable in SQL and unfazed by messy CRM and third-party data. Deduplicating records and matching accounts is a puzzle you enjoy solving.
- You understand how GTM teams actually work, from prospecting and lead routing to pipeline management, and you know what an SDR’s day looks like.
- You take a project from idea to done within priorities set by RevOps and GTM leaders, and you can explain a technical tradeoff to a non-technical partner just as clearly in a doc as in a meeting.
