Establish and maintain governance frameworks for the review, approval, and oversight of external advisory engagements, ensuring consistency, accountability, and appropriate escalation across business units.
Partner with senior leaders across Private Equity, Credit, Athene, and Enterprise Solutions to assess advisory needs, evaluate provider selection, and optimize engagement structures.
Develop and maintain firmwide reporting and analytics related to advisory firm utilization, spend, engagement activity, pipeline management, and performance measurement.
Produce executive-level dashboards, presentations, and strategic analyses that provide leadership with transparency into advisory activity, spending trends, and optimization opportunities.
Lead initiatives to create competitive sourcing processes, improve commercial outcomes, and challenge historical engagement practices through data-driven analysis and market benchmarking.
Drive strategic cost management initiatives, including fee structure redesign, insourcing assessments, vendor rationalization, and process improvements that enhance enterprise value.
Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and enhanced data management capabilities to improve reporting, governance, and operational efficiency.
Manage and develop team members supporting the function while building scalable processes and infrastructure to support future growth of the advisory management platform.
Evaluate opportunities to expand the framework beyond accounting firms to broader consulting and professional services providers across the Apollo ecosystem.
