About this job
Who We Are
Serval is the AI-native enterprise service management platform that automates the work legacy IT service management tools only track. Our AI agents build the automations that power employee support, then resolve requests against them instantly—helping teams across IT, HR, finance, legal, and beyond automate work within one governed platform.
Companies including Fox, Live Nation, Notion, Ramp, and Lucid Motors run on Serval. Headquartered in San Francisco, we’ve raised $277 million from investors including Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, First Round, General Catalyst, and Elad Gil, most recently a $150 million Series C at a $3 billion valuation.
We’re building a team that moves quickly, takes ownership, and wants to make a meaningful impact on how the world’s largest organizations work. Come help us build what’s next for enterprise service management.
About the role:
Serval is going global, and our events are leading the way. You'll own Serval's corporate events worldwide: our owned summits and user conferences, flagship programs, and the largest industry conferences, as we expand into EMEA, APAC, and beyond. You'll build the global events function from the ground up, leading the team, the playbook, and the partners that turn Serval's biggest moments into pipeline, brand, and category leadership in every market we enter.
This role builds and leads a team, and its scope, budget, and footprint will grow as Serval scales domestically and expands internationally.
Who you are:
A leader with taste. You set a high bar, build teams that hit it, and still sweat the details yourself.
Globally minded. You know a London roundtable, a Singapore summit, and a Vegas conference each need a different playbook, and you know how to localize without losing the brand.
Energized under pressure, decisive in chaos, allergic to mediocrity, and right more often than not.
Comfortable pushing back on "safe" ideas in favor of bold, thoughtful ones.
A builder. You've scaled an events function before, and you're excited to do it again in new markets.
What you'll do:
Own Serval's global events strategy and calendar: owned summits, user conferences, flagship programs, and the largest third-party conferences across North America, EMEA, APAC, and beyond.
Lead international expansion of our events program: pick the right markets, conferences, and formats as we enter new regions, and launch Serval's first owned events abroad.
Build, lead, and grow a high-performing events team and add regional talent as we scale.
Design experiences that shape brand perception, build trust with executive audiences, and drive real pipeline and revenue.
Own global budgets, vendor and agency relationships, and venue sourcing, including in-region partners, contracts, compliance, and logistics.
Orchestrate across Executive, Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer teams to turn strategy and stories into experiences the market remembers.
Partner with Field Marketing and regional sales leaders to extend flagship moments into regional and account-level programs in every market.
Set the goals and track the metrics that matter: pipeline sourced and influenced, executive attendance, and post-event conversion, and report on them to leadership.
Establish global playbooks, systems, and standards so every Serval event, anywhere in the world, delivers the same quality.
What you'll need:
10+ years in event marketing, with 3+ years leading an events team, preferably in high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise tech.
Proven owner of large-scale B2B events with executive audiences: user conferences, owned summits, and major industry conferences, from strategy through onsite.
Hands-on experience running events internationally across EMEA and/or APAC, including in-region vendors, venues, contracts, and local compliance.
Track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue impact through events.
Experience owning and managing large, multi-region event budgets.
Proficiency with event management platforms (Splash, Cvent, or similar), CRM systems (Salesforce), and marketing automation tools.
Experience with virtual and hybrid event strategies.
Ability to travel about 30-40%, including international travel.
What We Offer
Impact: Be a key player in shaping the success of our product and company.
Growth: Build a fundamentally new AI product offering with the support of our experienced team and investors. Grow rapidly with the company.
Culture: Join a culture that values innovation, ownership, accountability, and fun.
