About this job
About Assembled
Assembled helps companies scale great customer support. As consumers, we’ve all been there. You need help, you’re stuck on hold or going in circles with an AI, and your problem still isn’t solved.
Behind great support is a complex operational problem: thousands of people and AI agents working across teams, time zones, and products as new problems emerge. Assembled gives support leaders the tools to manage that complexity, from AI agents that resolve customer issues to software that forecasts demand, builds schedules, and makes intraday adjustments.
More than 400 companies, including DoorDash, Salesforce, Stripe, and Sephora, trust Assembled. We've raised $71M from NEA, Emergence Capital, Stripe, and Basis Set Ventures and have offices in San Francisco, New York, and London.
The Role
We’re hiring a Head of Growth Marketing to run the engine that produces pipeline efficiently—and from an increasingly enterprise customer mix. While pipeline creation is a team sport, you’ll own a qualified pipeline target and the system that delivers it, in partnership with Sales. You’ll know the ins-and-outs of every funnel stage to say, in any given week, what’s working, what’s stalled, and where our next dollar goes.
Assembled is moving upmarket and our growth motion hasn’t caught up. We already support complex operations at Canva, Robinhood, and ServiceTitan; this is an opportunity to turn that enterprise traction into a repeatable growth motion. We have many of the right ingredients—a talented SDR team, some account tiering, lots of rich funnel data, and great content, events, and customer stories. What’s missing is the strategy that connects everything to truly break through. We need someone who can rethink our enterprise motion and then loves to get their hands dirty building it.
This is a player/coach role. You’ll work collaboratively with content, product marketing, customer marketing, and events to turn a calendar of activities into a smaller number of campaigns with real muscle behind them. You’ll hold two horizons at once: plays that make the quarter, and others that make the year.
This role is based in our San Francisco office, in person five days a week, Monday–Friday.
What You’ll Do
Rethink our enterprise motion end-to-end: account tiering, signal sources, and the plays that run off them including the touchpoints to convert and accelerate deals
Own the funnel: know conversion at every stage, find the drop-offs that matter, and sequence fixes by revenue potential
Build signal-based plays alongside the SDR pod so outbound and marketing work the same accounts with the same story at the same time
Treat paid and website conversion as levers rather than channels, and make the call on where spend and traffic are doing the work
Design campaigns that pull content, PMM, customer marketing, and events into one motion so we run fewer plays with more behind each
Build AI workflows and agents the team actually adopts — account research, list building, creative variants, post-test analysis — and bring lifecycle into the same system so we market to customers as deliberately as to prospects
Manage and grow our GTM engineer, collaborating to decide what runs on agents vs team members and agencies
What You Bring
8-10 years in growth or demand gen at B2B companies selling into enterprise, including time at a company that was deliberately moving upmarket and going multi-product while you were there
Account-based GTM you built (or rebuilt) rather than inherited. You’ve done the strategic rethink, not just run someone else’s model
Real fluency with funnel data and the tools to analyze it: you can find real insight in messy data and prioritize action accordingly
Breadth across paid, website conversion, lifecycle, GTM systems, and outbound. While you’ll be deepest in a few, you won’t be a stranger to any of them
Multi-player AI systems you’ve built and your team has adopted, with specific, substantive examples you can walk through
Player/coach management experience. You’ve managed people and you’re still close enough to the work to build plays yourself
Our U.S. benefits
Generous medical, dental, and vision benefits
Flexible time off
Monthly credits to spend on each: wellness, Assembled customers, commuting, and AI tools
Paid parental leave
A meal plan to support our in-office working model: catered lunches everyday (M-F), snacks, and beverages in our SF & NY offices
401(k) plan enrollment
