The Manager, Go-to-Market Excellence is responsible for translating approved business strategies into exceptional guest experiences. This leader owns cross-functional commercialization from initiative approval through national launch, ensuring every activation is coordinated across the organization, communicated effectively, and delivered consistently across every guest touchpoint and channel.

Working across Brand Creative, Culinary & Calendar, Digital Product, Channel Marketing, Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Restaurant Excellence, Communications, and Training, this role serves as the central integrator responsible for aligning timelines, managing dependencies, resolving execution risks, and driving organizational readiness.

The role extends beyond LTO menu activation to include value platforms, digital capabilities, promotional offers, partnerships, loyalty initiatives, restaurant activations, and other strategic business priorities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Commercialization Leadership:

  • Own end to end GTM (go-to-market) activation for business initiatives from approval through national launch.
  • Translate marketing strategy into detailed execution plans across every guest touchpoint and marketing channel.
  • Develop integrated launch plans that align marketing, operations, digital, technology, training, communications, supply chain, finance, and restaurant teams.
  • Ensure every initiative is guest-centric, operationally executable, and delivered with excellence.

Guest Experience & Channel Activation:

  • Ensure consistent execution across in-Shack, kiosk, app, web, third-party delivery, CRM, media, packaging, merchandising, training, and restaurant operations.
  • Coordinate launch readiness across every guest touchpoint to create a seamless omnichannel experience, including documenting an omni-channel GTM plan.
  • Partner with Digital Product and Technology teams to ensure digital experiences support business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing teams to ensure execution reflects the intended guest experience.

Process & Program Management:

  • Serve as the central point of coordination across key approved workstreams.
  • Establish an evolved GTM process including integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and decision logs.
  • Lead recurring commercialization meetings and executive readiness reviews.
  • Identify execution risks early and proactively develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage changes in scope, priorities, and launch timing while maintaining organizational alignment.

Launch Readiness & Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead GTM launch readiness reviews and establish clear go/no-go criteria.
  • Capture post-mortem launch learnings across business functions and identify opportunities to improve commercialization processes.
  • Continuously refine tools, templates, governance, and ways of working to improve speed, clarity, and execution quality.
  • Help scale a best-in-class GTM process capable of supporting Shake Shack’s future growth.

What’s In It For You

  • Help shape how one of the industry’s fastest growing brands brings innovation to market.
  • Lead highly visible initiatives with executive visibility and frequent eTeam touchpoints.
  • Work across virtually every function in the organization, building broad business leadership.
  • Help build and define a commercialization capability that will become foundational to Shake Shack’s future growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, commercialization, project management, product marketing, or cross-functional business leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through launch
  • Exceptional organizational and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity while driving alignment across multiple teams.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of broader business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or consumer packaged goods experience.
  • Experience commercializing digital products, loyalty programs, menu innovation, or promotional campaigns.
  • Experience working closely with Operations, Technology, Product, and Supply Chain organizations.
