About this job

Our Team

Dandelion Health unlocks a layer of unexplored clinical depth that has been previously inaccessible at scale. By combining all the raw multimodal data from community health systems with validated AI models, we deliver regulatory-grade scientific insights and products that give teams the evidence to design better trials, enroll the right patients, and generate AI-powered insights that drive confident decisions across the development and commercial lifecycle.

Your Role

You are an experienced project manager who drives complex work across teams and organizations you don’t control. You plan carefully, communicate clearly with engineers and executives alike, and treat documentation and tracking as core infrastructure, not an afterthought.

In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, privacy, and data teams at Dandelion and at our health system partners. You will: (i) oversee the execution of data extraction and de-identification across our health system partners, keeping deliveries on time, and (ii) serve as the primary point of contact for those partners, managing day-to-day project operations and communication.

You’ve led large, multi-stakeholder projects and know how to move work forward without direct authority. You spot problems early, map out options before they’re needed, and document your learnings. You understand data well enough to scope extractions, catch quality issues, and work within privacy and compliance constraints.

You will report directly to the Chief Network Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive data extraction roadmaps across multiple health systems, including building business cases for net-new data sources and adjusting schedules, as needed, to ensure timely completion.

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with our health system partners across functional areas and serve as the operations main point of contact for the Dandelion partnership.

  • Work autonomously, driving and influencing cross functional internal and external data and engineering teams.

  • Foster a collaborative team environment and motivate team members to achieve project goals.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including status reports, timelines, and resource plans that can be easily tailored to various stakeholder audiences.

  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful large-scale project management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of a project, including initiating programs, driving delivery, and providing support when issues arise. Experience anticipating and adapting to change easily and swiftly.

  • A builder’s mindset toward operations: You’ve used AI tools to remove manual work from project management, such as automating recurring partner reporting, drafting stakeholder updates, or synthesizing inputs across multiple teams’ roadmaps.

  • Technical expertise: Experience working with engineering and data science teams, exposure to JIRA, Salesforce, project management tools, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Cross-functional communications: Ability to “speak everyone’s language” by quickly understanding each stakeholder’s objectives, motivations, restrictions, and dependencies.

  • Self-motivation: Goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel, as needed, to Dandelion’s five health system partners.

Team Benefits

  • Remote work and flexible hours. Availability needed for meetings, which we try to keep to a healthy minimum

  • Complete wellness benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, PTO, sick days and more. Ask for details

  • Professional development days to build your skills

  • Collegial work environment

  • Academic bent towards inquiry and problem solving but start-up speed and flexibility

  • Great balance of focus time to work on projects but easy to access team members to discuss issues and work collaboratively

  • Dandelion is a mission-driven company that is focused on improving patient care
