Position Overview
Lead the plant-level Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process for the Regal Rexnord Simi Valley, Aero Division. Drive cross-functional readiness across Operations, Materials, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and outside processing to support customer commitments and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the plant SIOP cadence, including demand review, supply and capacity review, gap resolution, and leadership decision support.
- Convert the financial sales outlook, backlog, and customer demand into a rolling buildable plan by product family or value stream.
- Translate demand into units, earned hours, labor, equipment, tooling, material, supplier, and OSP requirements.
- Compare required demand with rated, demonstrated, and attainable capacity; identify constraints and required countermeasures early.
- Maintain scenario plans for demand upside, downside, mix changes, supply interruptions, and capacity limitations.
- Integrate material availability, long-lead items, supplier capacity, and OSP lead times into the operating plan.
- Partner with Finance to reconcile operational capability with the financial outlook and quantify impacts to revenue, margin, inventory, and working capital.
- Drive clear cross-functional commitments with owners and due dates; escalate decisions and unresolved gaps through plant leadership.
- Improve planning standards, master data, analytics, metrics, and visibility to strengthen plan stability and execution readiness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in SIOP/S&OP, supply chain, materials, demand planning, capacity planning, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience translating demand or financial plans into executable production, capacity, material, and resource requirements.
- Experience in a complex manufacturing environment with multiple products, routings, constraints, and supply dependencies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional processes and influence decisions without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MBA or MS) in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.
- Expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP Preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g, Green Belt or Black Belt).
