About this job
About Mercor
Mercor's mission is to organize human intelligence to power the AI economy. We're a leading AI data company, building the layer between human expertise and frontier models. Millions of domain experts on the platform are paid over $4 million per day to train frontier AI models. Mercor's APEX benchmark family measures AI's real-world impact on professional work. Mercor Enterprise brings this same infrastructure to Fortune 500 companies: helping companies capture how their best people actually work, translating that expertise directly back into agents.
Mercor is creating a new category of work where expertise powers AI advancement. Achieving this requires an ambitious, fast-paced and deeply committed team. You’ll work alongside researchers, operators, and AI companies at the forefront of shaping the systems that are redefining society. Mercor is a profitable Series C company valued at $10 billion. We work in-person five days a week in our San Francisco, NYC, or London offices.
About the role
Mercor provides the data and evaluations that help AI models improve. As a primary data partner to the world’s leading AI labs, we’ve built systems to evaluate and train their models. We now bring that same expertise to enterprises, helping them test AI on real business tasks and improve performance through custom evaluations, expert data, and post-training. Our network of more than 8 million domain experts allows us to deliver this at scale.
We’re hiring a Partnerships Lead to build Mercor’s business across the AI infrastructure ecosystem, including inference providers, GPU clouds, open-source model companies, and reinforcement learning platforms.
You’ll build partnerships that bring Mercor into customers’ post-training and model customization projects. This is a new function, and you’ll be responsible for developing the partner strategy, establishing referral and co-sell programs, and generating revenue through these relationships.
What you'll do
Build relationships with inference providers, GPU clouds, open-source model companies, and reinforcement learning platforms.
Develop referral and co-sell programs that generate new business for Mercor.
Work with inference providers to include Mercor’s services in their startup programs, including joint credits and other incentives.
Manage partnerships with companies that are also Mercor customers, coordinating with our engagement teams.
Own partner-sourced pipeline, revenue targets, and forecasting.
Identify new partnership opportunities and negotiate commercial agreements.
What we're looking for
6+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales at an AI infrastructure, inference, or compute company.
Strong understanding of post-training, evaluations, and reinforcement learning, with the ability to work directly with ML engineers and technical product teams.
Experience developing referral or co-sell programs with technical partners.
Established relationships with companies across the AI infrastructure ecosystem.
Experience building new partnerships and generating revenue, not just managing existing accounts.
Nice to have
Partnerships experience at an inference provider (Baseten, Fireworks, Together AI) or on a GPU company’s ecosystem team.
Experience building platform partnerships at a developer-focused company.
Experience managing startup partnership or credits programs.
