Job Summary

About our team

Console, a Palo Alto Networks company, is building an AI-native platform for enterprise service management. We bring together service management, automation, knowledge, access and enterprise data so teams can understand what is happening across their organization, resolve issues and requests and automate work across the systems they already use.

About the role

The Console product sits at the intersection of vertical AI agents, agentic workflow automation, B2B SaaS, and enterprise governance. We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to own the end-to-end design for features and experiences that span across these different disciplines. You'll work closely with Console customers to deeply understand their needs and rethink legacy ITSM software through an AI-native lens to build great, cutting-edge product experiences. This is a high-ownership role: you'll drive work end-to-end, make product decisions, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

You'll shape how enterprises interact with AI agents doing real operational work, where clarity, trust, and craft matter. In this role, you will:

  • Turn ambiguous customer requests into clear product requirements, then into shippable, high-craft designs
  • Own the full design process from user research, product flows, and wireframing to UI design for key product areas.
  • Design the core workflows and interfaces that let teams configure, monitor, and trust AI agents.
  • Partner with product and engineering to shape product direction and contribute to roadmap planning.
  • Help establish and evolve Console's design system and design principles.
  • Collaborate with and mentor other designers as the team grows.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS product design experience.
  • An exceptionally high bar for craft and quality, with strong IA and UX thinking evident in your portfolio.
  • Experience (or willingness to) build across the full product lifecycle, from ambiguous customer requests to shipped design.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate design rationale.
  • Challenger mindset that questions assumptions and pulls inspiration from diverse sources to create innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have designed and launched AI agent product experiences, including UX, harness design, and AI governance.
  • You are actively updating your product design process and toolset, exploring new AI tools and pushing the boundaries of design.
