About this job
It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they are doing!
We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.
Fractal is a strategic AI partner to Fortune 500 companies, with a bold vision: to power every human decision in the enterprise. We believe the future belongs to organizations that combine human imagination with intelligent systems and Fractalites are the ones building that future.
As we grow our work helping enterprises build and scale AI products, we are looking for a Product Analytics & Insights Leader to own the analytics strategy, measurement operating model, and executive performance story for an enterprise AI platform focused on employee experience. You will connect product behavior, employee experience, and business outcomes to explain where the platform creates value, where it falls short, and what leadership should do next.
This is not a reporting role. It is a decision-shaping leadership position for someone who can influence roadmap and investment priorities through evidence, lead and develop a team of analysts, and direct AI-first systems that handle data pulls, synthesis, and first-draft narratives, while owning the analytical judgment brought to every decision forum.
Location: Minneapolis, MN (preferred); relocation support available for the right candidate.
The Opportunity
As Product Analytics & Insights Leader, you will report to the Director, Product Management for the AI product team and partner closely with product management, engineering, UX, research, and business stakeholders. You will set the standard for how the platform is measured, turn signals into clear recommendations, and make sure leadership has one consistent, trusted view of performance.
You will:
- Own the measurement strategy: define success metrics, KPI definitions, baselines, and review cadences that connect adoption, engagement, retention, satisfaction, and business performance to product objectives, supported by observability metrics that explain the story behind the outcomes.
- Direct AI-enabled analytics: lead AI-assisted analysis and automated executive dashboards with reliable refreshes and verified narratives, focusing analyst effort on exceptions, anomalies, root causes, and decision implications rather than routine reporting.
- Evaluate launches and impact: use always-on instrumentation and, where appropriate, experimentation to separate observed change from credible evidence of impact, and recommend corrective action.
- Turn user signals into insight: integrate employee feedback, surveys, support trends, experience metrics, and product behavior into a coherent view of unmet needs and friction, partnering with UX and research to prioritize journey improvements.
- Shape roadmap and investment: translate evidence into recommendations on sequencing, feature prioritization, and investment trade-offs; develop and challenge business cases; use targeted market and competitive research to test strategic assumptions; and assess realized value after launch to decide where to scale, refine, or stop.
- Own the executive performance story: produce concise presentations, reports, and visualizations that explain impact, underlying drivers, confidence in the evidence, and recommended decisions, surfacing unfavorable findings as clearly as positive ones.
- Build and lead the team: lead and develop analytics staff, set priorities, coach analytical reasoning and executive communication, and plan capacity so the team stays strategic rather than becoming a reporting-only function.
- Automate responsibly: replace manual analytics and reporting work with reusable AI workflows, prompts, and agents, with clear review standards for source traceability, SQL validation, reconciliation, and narrative accuracy before outputs reach decision forums.
What Makes This Role Compelling
- Decision-shaping influence: your analysis will directly guide roadmap priorities and investment decisions for an enterprise AI platform that shapes how employees work.
- AI-first by design: you will lead an analytics function where AI systems handle the heavy lifting on data pulls and synthesis, so your team can focus on judgment, insight, and impact.
- Executive visibility: you will own the performance narrative brought to senior leadership and decision forums.
- A values-driven company: Fractal is consistently recognized as a Great Place to Work, with a culture built around curiosity, diversity, and long-term thinking.
Qualifications & Experience
- Analytics experience: 8+ years in analytics, product analytics, business analysis, consulting, or research, including substantial work interpreting large datasets and translating findings into product or business decisions.
- Analytics leadership: 3+ years leading analytics programs or teams, including setting analytical priorities, establishing measurement practices, coaching analysts, and delivering outcomes across functions.
- Hands-on SQL and data analysis: the ability to validate complex queries, investigate data quality issues, and critically evaluate AI-generated analysis.
- KPI frameworks and business cases: demonstrated experience shaping KPI frameworks, evaluating product performance, and developing evidence-based prioritization or business-case recommendations.
- Executive communication and influence: proven ability to build clear executive narratives and influence cross-functional decisions without relying on reporting authority.
- Judgment with AI-assisted work: sound understanding of analytical limitations, uncertainty, and the human verification that AI-assisted analysis requires.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in analytics, business, information systems, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, or a related field.
Strong Preferences
- AI workflow and BI tooling: experience designing and scaling automated workflows or agents with Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or equivalent tools, and delivering decision-ready dashboards in Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
- Product analytics and experience measurement: depth in experimentation and KPI frameworks, plus user research, journey mapping, or customer/employee experience measurement, integrating behavioral data with qualitative research.
- Conversational AI and ML-enabled products: experience with digital assistants, agents, or machine-learning-enabled products, ideally within complex enterprise product, technology, or transformation initiatives.
- Durable measurement practices: experience developing analytics staff and building cross-functional measurement practices that last.
- Commitment to building diverse, inclusive teams.
Who Thrives Here
The Fractalite mindset is curious, rigorous, and impact-driven. You will thrive in this role if you:
- Find patterns, explain why they matter, and recommend concrete action.
- Combine analytical depth with product thinking, and earn trust through clear, evidence-based influence.
- Surface uncertainty and challenge assumptions constructively, even when the findings are unwelcome.
- See AI not as a novelty, but as a core capability whose output must be verified and used responsibly.
