About this job
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril's Data & Operations team combines internal data analytics with operational processes and business systems to make insights actionable. You will collaborate with stakeholders and drive partnerships across the company to improve decision making and optimize outcomes. Your work will increase organizational velocity by becoming an expert on our most critical workflows such as labor planning, production enablement, and cost tracking.
ABOUT THE JOB
We're hiring a Product Manager to build and support the software products that let Anduril's divisions operate at scale. You'll serve the divisions from a central perspective: understanding what each one needs, finding the patterns across them, and deciding what we should build to support them.
You'll own the internal planning, forecasting, and tracking tools that our teams rely on every day. You'll own the product direction, the user base, and the path to an end state where divisions have a single, trusted view of their work. As the portfolio grows, you'll lead the broader set of products that our Data & Operations team builds.
This role requires decomposing messy operational problems from first principles and coordinating a central engineering team to build and validate solutions. Your stakeholders range from division operations leads to finance leaders and executives; you'll keep all of them aligned, informed, and moving toward the same end state.
If translating complex operational problems into impactful product solutions doesn't excite you, this is not the role for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the central product portfolio: define requirements, prioritize builds, and deliver measurable improvements to forecasting accuracy, data quality, and adoption.
- Align stakeholders on goals and success metrics. Run steering committee and executive updates. Maintain a published roadmap showing what's committed, queued, and declined with rationale.
- Work with operations teams to uncover pain points, synthesize feedback into requirements, and prioritize based on company-wide impact.
- Define how tools connect to systems of record. Work with Finance, People, and data engineering to establish shared definitions and trustworthy data flows.
- Translate across audiences: communicate with engineers on data models and architecture; explain value and trade-offs to leaders and executives.
- Lead rollouts and adoption. Equip operations leads to champion the product. Provide centralized training, documentation, and support that scale.
- Drive projects to end state with transparency: clear milestones, measurable gates, honest status.
- Build durable artifacts: documentation, runbooks, SOPs, decision logs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years in product management, program management, operations, business analysis, consulting, or related roles solving ambiguous, cross-functional problems.
- Manage projects and stakeholders across large groups, including leading meetings, communicating with executives, and building consensus.
- Strong analytical aptitude. Think about problems in terms of data and systems. Comfortable running scrappy analyses in SQL or Excel.
- Strong communication skills: translate technical constraints for business stakeholders and business needs for engineers.
- Service orientation backed by prioritization discipline. Understand and accommodate stakeholder needs. Say "not now" with clear rationale when the roadmap requires it.
- Responsiveness and follow-through. Build trust by delivering on commitments.
- Comfort working in the open, with clear frameworks, written decisions, and visibility across the organization.
- Work in-office full time.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as software product manager or technical product owner for internal tools or enterprise platforms.
- Technical depth: engineering background, software development, agentic coding tools, enterprise data systems and warehouses.
- Experience in hardware and software environments and cross-functional, fast-paced settings.
- Experience with data governance, security protocols, or sensitive operational data.
- Experience with cost accounting, financial systems integration, or finance and operations data workflows.
