We believe great work begins with great people. That’s why our culture is built on respect, trust, and belonging. We create an inclusive environment where every team member can bring their authentic self to work—because diverse perspectives drive innovation and meaningful impact.
Growth Mindset
We are doers, thinkers, and dreamers. At ABC Fitness, your growth is our investment. Through continuous learning, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, we empower you to reach new heights—personally and professionally.
One Team
From day one, you’ll be part of a team that collaborates, celebrates, and cares. We move fast, support one another, and have fun along the way. Because when you thrive, we all thrive.
What You'll Do
- Own the product direction and roadmap for core Ignite Membership Operations workflows, balancing customer needs, product strategy, operational risk, migration commitments, and enterprise requirements.
- Observe real club workflows and speak directly with owners, operators, membership teams, and front-desk staff to understand friction, workarounds, and the outcomes they need.
- Lead discovery and delivery for the membership lifecycle, including new agreements, rewrites, freezes, cancellations, transfers, merges, recurring dues, plans, pricing, and member records.
- Improve check-in and access workflows, including schedules, day and guest access, staff roles, permissions, and the club configuration those workflows depend on.
- Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, decisions, priorities, and acceptance criteria with engineering, design, and quality assurance.
- Partner with Commerce, Insights, Engagement, and GymSales so membership state stays consistent across payments, reporting, member communications, and the broader member journey.
- Plan and communicate responsible changes to live clubs, including rollout, enablement, support readiness, monitoring, and rollback considerations when appropriate.
- Measure whether changes improve operational outcomes such as agreement accuracy, access reliability, task completion, adoption, and reduced manual workarounds.
- Represent the voice of the club inside ABC and explain tradeoffs clearly when the needs of independent clubs, franchises, and multi-location operators differ.
What You'll Need
- Experience owning product work from problem framing and discovery through delivery, launch, and iteration.
- Experience delivering operational software, workflow-heavy SaaS, or products used by frontline or distributed teams.
- A practical understanding of membership, recurring billing, access control, permissions, or another comparable operational domain.
- Ability to work credibly with engineers and designers on APIs, systems of record, data consistency, permissions, and workflow behavior without needing to write production code.
- Strong customer discovery, prioritization, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to use qualitative feedback and product data to investigate a scenario, make a decision, and define measurable outcomes.
- A collaborative, curious, and accountable working style suited to an individual contributor role in a cross-functional product organization.
And It's Great to Have
- Experience with fitness, club management, hospitality, retail, healthcare, financial services, or another multi-location operating environment.
- Experience with member or customer lifecycle workflows, recurring payments, point of sale, access control, or role-based permissions.
- Experience shipping changes into environments where teams are busy, training time is limited, and reliability matters immediately.
- Experience using automation or AI-enabled tools to improve discovery, analysis, product operations, or customer workflows, with appropriate judgment about privacy and quality.
- A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is also welcome.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to visit clubs, customers, or team locations as needed.
Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market considerations. The anticipated compensation range for this position is -
$125,000 - $141,000 USD- annually. In addition to base compensation, eligible employees may be offered other forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive programs, where applicable. Compensation and benefits may vary by location and are subject to applicable legal, business, and market requirements.
