About this job
fal is the generative media ecosystem powering the next generation of AI products. We build the infrastructure, tools, and model access that teams need to move from idea to production, and do it at scale without compromise. For developers and enterprises, fal is the foundation that makes generative media not just possible, but practical: a unified platform where high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability come together to unlock new categories of AI-native products.
As generative media reshapes industries across a market projected to grow by hundreds of billions over the next decade, fal is becoming the ecosystem that ambitious teams build on.
About this role:
We’re looking for a Product Marketer to own go-to-market for fal’s developer platform, from Model APIs for accessing 1,500+ generative media models, to fal Agent for AI-powered creation, fal CLI for building from the terminal, and the products we build next.
You’ll sit at the intersection of product, developers, creators, and community, turning what we ship into products people want to try, build with, and talk about.
Generative media is evolving incredibly fast. The winning developer platform won't just have the best models. It'll make them easy to discover, experiment with, and build into products.
You'll define how developers experience fal, tell the story of what they can build with it, and grow the community building on top of it.
What you’ll do
Own positioning, messaging, and GTM for fal’s developer platform, including Model APIs, fal Agent, and fal CLI
Lead launches for new models, features, APIs, and developer tools
Grow awareness and adoption across developer and creator communities through social, content, demos, partnerships, and community
Turn new capabilities into compelling demos, tutorials, guides, workflows, and use cases
Build a strong product voice across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, developer communities, and emerging channels
Partner with Creative Engineering to identify trends and rapidly ship demos showing what’s possible with fal
Develop customer and developer stories showcasing what people are building on fal
Partner closely with Product and Engineering, bringing market and community insights into roadmap and product decisions
Work with Growth on SEO/AEO, lifecycle, and product-led growth to turn discovery into active users
Build relationships with developers, creators, startups, and ecosystem partners and make fal a product people want to talk about
Qualifications/Nice-to-haves
Strong understanding of AI models, APIs, developer tools, and the generative media ecosystem
Technical enough to use APIs, experiment with models, and work closely with engineers
Exceptional product storytelling. You can turn a new API, model, or feature into something people immediately want to try
Strong instincts for social, content, demos, developer marketing, and community-led growth
Deeply online and tuned into how developers and creators discover and share new AI products
Comfortable creating things yourself, from writing a launch post to building a demo or publishing a technical guide
Strong product instincts and curiosity about how developers actually use what we build
Bias toward shipping, experimentation, and measurable growth
What we offer at fal
Interesting and challenging work
A lot of learning and growth opportunities
We offer visa sponsorship and will help you relocate to San Francisco.
Health, dental, and vision insurance (US)
Regular team events and offsites
Compensation
$160,000 - $200,000 + equity + comprehensive benefits package
