What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Build, operationalize, and lead an omnichannel CEO communications engine spanning earned media, marquee speaking stages, digital channels, and executive presentations
  • Define and evolve the CEO’s master narrative and message architecture, translating complex Zero Trust, AI, and cloud innovations into clear business value
  • Secure tier-1 business, financial, and tech media placements while expanding executive presence across podcasts, modern broadcast, and digital video
  • Architect and ghostwrite high-impact thought leadership content, including op-eds, blogs, keynotes, customer letters, and internal all-hands addresses
  • Establish a rapid-response operating rhythm for market scanning, competitive counter-positioning, and high-stakes issue communications

Who You Are (Success Profile)

  • You act like an owner. You seamlessly balance high-level strategic C-suite advisory with hands-on execution to build and scale a global executive communications engine.
  • You champion simplicity. You excel at translating complex technical architecture into compelling, accessible narratives that resonate with enterprise leaders.
  • You operate with urgency. You thrive in fast-paced environments, driving proactive thought leadership and rapid-response counter-positioning with precision.
  • You are a high-trust collaborator. You build strong cross-functional partnerships across PR, Legal, IR, Product, and Executive Operations to align strategy and protect market leadership.
  • You are resilient and adaptable. You navigate high-stakes moments, media scrutiny, and executive advising with sound judgment, discretion, and composure.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in executive communications, CEO communications, PR, and narrative development within enterprise tech, cybersecurity, or cloud SaaS
  • Proven track record directly counseling and supporting a founder/CEO of a public, multi-billion-dollar enterprise technology company
  • Exceptional writing, speechwriting, and ghostwriting skills with a portfolio of published op-eds, executive blogs, keynote scripts, and social content
  • Demonstrated track record pitching tier-1 business and financial press, securing flagship event speaking slots, and prepping executives for live TV
  • Proven success building executive platforms on LinkedIn and X using short-form video, commentary, and multimedia strategy
  • Expected travel 30%

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Demonstrate a proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency
  • Background in journalism, financial or tech reporting, or political/public affairs communications
  • Experience steering executive visibility through transformative corporate growth, hyper-growth scaling, or major industry disruptions
  • Familiarity with crisis management frameworks, rapid newsroom response workflows, and a player-coach leadership mindset
