About this job

About Rad AI

At Rad AI, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare with artificial intelligence. Founded by a radiologist, our AI-driven solutions are revolutionizing radiology—saving time, reducing burnout, and improving patient care. With one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world, our AI has helped uncover hundreds of new cancer diagnoses and reduced error rates in tens of millions of radiology reports by nearly 50%.

Rad AI has secured over $140M in funding, including a recently oversubscribed Series C ($68M round) led by Transformation Capital, bringing our valuation to $528M. Our investors include Khosla Ventures, World Innovation Lab, Gradient Ventures, Cone Health Ventures, and others—all backing our mission to empower physicians with cutting-edge AI.

Our latest advancements in generative AI are used by thousands of radiologists daily, supporting more than one-third of radiology groups and healthcare systems and nearly 50% of all medical imaging in the U.S. at partners including Cone Health, Jefferson Einstein Health, Geisinger, Guthrie Healthcare System, and Henry Ford Health.

Recognized as one of the most promising healthcare AI companies by CB Insights and AuntMinnie, and ranked by Deloitte as the 19th fastest-growing company in North America, we are building AI-powered solutions that make a real impact. Most recently, Rad AI was named to CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list, highlighting the innovation and momentum behind our mission.

If you’re ready to shape the future of healthcare, we’d love to have you on our team!

We’re seeking a commercially minded, visionary Director of Corporate Marketing & Communications to amplify our story and elevate our brand. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about crafting world-class communication strategies, driving earned media, and shaping industry narratives to make a significant impact on brand, market adoption, and revenue growth.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring Rad AI’s story is heard across media, investors, partners, and industry influencers. Working closely with our CEO, executive team, and cross-functional leaders, you’ll lead the charge in building and executing a corporate marketing strategy that enhances our brand, supports commercial priorities, and strengthens our position at the forefront of AI-driven healthcare transformation.

This is an opportunity to define the voice of a company that’s transforming healthcare. If you’re ready to build and lead a world-class corporate marketing and communications function that partners closely with our commercial organization and delivers measurable business impact, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Corporate Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate marketing strategy that enhances Rad AI’s presence and influence in the market while aligning marketing priorities to business goals and measurable growth outcomes.

  • Partner with our CEO and leadership team to ensure brand messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with business goals, including how marketing contributes to pipeline, revenue, and market adoption.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends to position Rad AI as a leader in AI-powered healthcare.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and other cross-functional leaders to translate customer and market insights into marketing priorities and programs.

Public Relations & Corporate Communications

  • Be the driving force behind PR strategy, securing high-impact media coverage that elevates Rad AI’s reputation and supports its commercial and strategic priorities.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with top-tier journalists, analysts, and industry influencers to tell our story in meaningful ways.

  • Lead executive thought leadership programs, ensuring our leaders’ voices are shaping industry conversations.

  • Manage company communications and financial communications, with confidence and clarity.

Content & Storytelling

  • Build a best-in-class content engine, producing compelling thought leadership materials, reports, blogs, videos, and podcasts.

  • Champion storytelling that resonates—whether through customer success stories, executive narratives, or industry insights—and connects marketing activity to customer value and commercial outcomes.

Social Media & Digital Engagement

  • Supercharge Rad AI’s social media presence, driving awareness and engagement through creative, data-driven campaigns.

  • Track and analyze performance metrics to continuously optimize strategies and demonstrate contribution to awareness, engagement, pipeline, or revenue.

Internal Communications

  • Partner with the executive team to deliver clear, inspiring messaging across the company.

  • Develop executive communication programs that align with company goals and foster cultural engagement.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and results.

  • Coach internal spokespeople to confidently represent Rad AI in the media and at key industry events.

Who You Are:

  • PR and Communications Expert: You own corporate PR and know how to craft messaging that resonates across media, investors, and key stakeholders while understanding how communications fits within a broader, revenue-oriented marketing strategy.

  • Master Storyteller: You have a passion for refining narratives about complex topics, uncovering new angles, and developing thought-provoking content.

  • Proactive & Strategic: You anticipate opportunities, prepare executives for high-stakes engagements, and react swiftly in moments that matter.

  • Collaborative & Curious: You immerse yourself in the business, engage with stakeholders, and stay ahead of industry trends —particularly by partnering closely with commercial leaders and teams.

  • Customer-Obsessed: You know that our best stories come from our customers, have a passion for healthcare, physicians and patients, and you’re relentless about amplifying their successes and translating customer needs into compelling market messages and growth opportunities.

  • Crisis-Ready: You’re composed, strategic, and ready to navigate complex communication challenges.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing and corporate communications experience in B2B enterprise software, technology, or healthcare, including at least 3 years managing a team or leading a marketing function.

  • Deep expertise in earned media, thought leadership, and brand strategy with the ability to connect these efforts to measurable business outcomes.

  • Commercially minded, with a demonstrated track record of partnering with commercial leaders and contributing to revenue growth, pipeline generation, or market adoption.

  • Proven track record of leading high-impact PR campaigns and executive communications.

  • Analytical thinker with data-driven judgment, and the ability to measure, report, and adjust campaigns based on data. Experience setting marketing KPIs, managing budgets, and communicating performance to executive stakeholders is strongly preferred.

  • Experience building a high-performance marketing function that excels in ownership and cross-functional partnership, especially with Sales and other commercial teams.

  • Strong writing, messaging, and storytelling skills.

  • Experience managing complex communications in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment is preferred.

  • Healthcare experience is highly desirable, but not required. Radiology experience is also a plus, but not required.
