Meet the Team

Duo Security, part of Cisco, makes security simple through cloud-delivered multi-factor authentication. The Auth Experience Mobile team owns Duo Mobile for iOS and supporting services, serving more than four million people and processing well over 100 million pushes monthly. Cross-platform engineers partner with product and design to build accessible, human-centered security experiences. We value ownership, pragmatic decisions, craftsmanship, collaboration, and responsible AI-assisted development. This role shapes trusted authentication at global scale.

Your Impact

Lead complex Duo Mobile iOS capabilities with Swift, Objective-C, core iOS SDKs, and SwiftUI. Own outcomes from ambiguous requirements through architecture, implementation, tests, rollout, telemetry, and production support, including supporting services. Raise quality through durable design, rigorous review, delivery tooling, and responsible AI-assisted development. Partner across product, design, security, backend, and mobile to balance accessibility, reliability, user experience, and threat resistance. Success means secure, maintainable outcomes at scale while mentoring teammates and shaping technical direction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, 6+ years of software engineering or related experience.
  • 3+ years of professional engineering experience shipping and supporting production native iOS apps.
  • Swift experience and maintaining or integrating Objective-C.
  • iOS SDK and SwiftUI or UIKit experience building performant, maintainable apps.
  • Automated test design and production mobile release support experience.
  • Mobile API or backend integration and client or service production diagnosis experience.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants and other generative AI tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced SwiftUI or UIKit, Swift concurrency, application lifecycle, UI layout, or animation experience.
  • Cybersecurity, authentication, cryptography, Keychain, secure data persistence, or advanced networking experience.
  • Backend services, observability, analytics, staged rollout, or mobile incident response experience.
  • Experience applying WCAG, ADA, or platform accessibility practices to inclusive mobile experiences.
  • Technical leadership through architecture, code review, mentoring, testable design, or cross-team delivery.
