Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy plays a pivotal role in shaping how the business wins in the marketplace by turning enterprise priorities into actionable commercial strategies that drive sustainable growth. This role partners across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Insights, National Accounts, and field teams to identify high-value opportunities, optimize investments, and improve execution. Success requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and strong influence to help leaders make faster, more effective decisions. This is an opportunity to create meaningful business impact while building scalable capabilities that support long-term growth.

Who will love this job

This role is ideal for someone who is energized by solving complex business challenges and turning insights into action. You enjoy bringing clarity to ambiguity, influencing decisions across diverse stakeholder groups, and balancing strategic thinking with practical execution. You thrive in collaborative environments where you can challenge ideas constructively, build alignment, and drive measurable results. A natural learner with strong commercial acumen, you are motivated by creating lasting business impact rather than simply delivering analyses or presentations.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute integrated commercial strategies that align portfolio priorities, growth objectives, and annual business planning cycles while translating enterprise goals into actionable market, channel, and customer plans.

  • Identify and prioritize share-growth opportunities by analyzing business performance, consumer and customer insights, market trends, and competitive activity, recommending where and how the organization can win.

  • Build data-driven business cases and strategic recommendations that improve decision-making, accelerate growth initiatives, and optimize resource allocation across brands, markets, and channels.

  • Evaluate and enhance route-to-market strategies, account segmentation, resource deployment, and distributor effectiveness to improve execution quality and return on investment.

  • Partner with field and business leaders to adapt national strategies to local market opportunities while maintaining alignment with broader business objectives.

  • Facilitate cross-functional decision-making by leading working sessions, aligning stakeholders around key priorities, and driving commitments that translate into measurable outcomes.

  • Establish scalable frameworks, performance measures, and governance processes that track progress, identify risks early, and enable rapid course correction when needed.
