The Opportunity:

As a key member of RevMed’s expanding Workday team, the Senior Manager, Workday Absence and Time Tracking will help build the systems foundation for our next stage of growth. This role will partner across the organization to translate evolving business needs into scalable solutions and a forward-looking roadmap that enables RevMed to grow effectively to 3,000–5,000+ employees. In this role, you will serve as the functional lead for RevMed's Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules, translating business needs and workforce policies into scalable, well-governed system solutions. You will combine deep configuration expertise with a consultative approach to support accurate time capture, reliable absence administration, payroll readiness, compliance, and an effective employee and manager experience.

This role requires both strong Workday Absence and Time Tracking expertise as well as strong broad Workday HCM systems knowledge. You will partner cross-functionally to drive optimization, governance, and continuous improvement across time and absence processes as well as partner on broader systems processes and projects. As a collaborative member of the Workday and broader HR teams, you will contribute beyond your primary modules, partnering across the team on shared priorities, broader systems processes, and enterprise projects. You will help drive optimization, governance, and continuous improvement across time and absence processes while ensuring alignment with RevMed's mission and core values. You will report directly to the Director, People Operations & Systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Workday Time Tracking and Absence subject matter expert, owning configuration, maintenance, and optimization of:

    • Time entry templates, time types, and eligibility rules.

    • Absence plans, accruals, carryover rules, balance caps, and validations.

    • Work schedules, calendars, period schedules, and approval workflows.

  • Support global and regional rollouts, new country deployments, and regulatory or policy changes affecting time and absence.

  • Partner with People Operations, Payroll, Benefits and HR leaders to design, configure, and optimize Workday Absence and Time Tracking solutions, serving as the functional lead.

  • Drive the Workday roadmap and continuous improvement strategy for Absence, Time Tracking, and related Workday capabilities, while contributing to shared Workday priorities and broader People Operations and HR initiatives. Prioritize scalable, compliant solutions aligned with business objectives, operational efficiency, data integrity, payroll accuracy, and user experience.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects across the Workday & HR Portfolio, primarily focused on time and absence systems and processes, including policy changes, process redesigns, integrations, Workday releases, enhancements and other shared team priorities.

  • Partner closely with the Workday Architect Lead to align solutions with enterprise architecture standards, maintain scalable and compliant data flows across integrated systems, evaluate Workday releases, and guide feature adoption.

  • Lead requirements gathering and translate business, payroll, and policy requirements into scalable system designs, configuration decisions, and technical specifications.

  • Configure and maintain Workday Absence and Time Tracking processes and structures to support evolving business needs, including time entry and approval, accruals, time off, leaves, period schedules, calculation rules, exceptions, and corrections.

  • Own time- and absence-related data integrity activities in collaboration with Payroll, Benefits, and People Operations, including audits, testing, reconciliations, controls, and compliance with internal policies and applicable requirements.

  • Design and maintain related security roles, domains, and access controls in partnership with the Workday Architect Lead, ensuring consistency with enterprise security standards and confidentiality requirements.

  • Lead change management for system and process enhancements in coordination with business owners, including stakeholder communication, training materials, testing coordination, and adoption support.

  • Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues, leading root cause analysis and coordinating timely resolution across functional and technical teams.

  • Perform hands-on configuration while working as an active, collaborative member of the Workday and broader HR teams; share expertise, support delivery across modules and initiatives, and guide mentor analysts.

  • Stay current on Workday capabilities and industry practices, bringing forward practical recommendations that improve time and absence administration and the employee and manager experience.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in Workday administration, including deep expertise in Absence and Time Tracking and experience supporting additional Workday HCM modules.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to be an effective collaborator, build trusted cross-functional relationships, contribute constructively as a member of a team, and influence stakeholders without relying on formal authority.

  • Experience translating workforce policies, payroll requirements, and business needs into scalable Workday solutions.

  • Experience managing the downstream effects of time and absence configuration on payroll processing, reporting, integrations, and employee data.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience supporting confidential employee and payroll data with strong attention to detail, controls, and governance.

  • Experience partnering directly with Payroll, Benefits, People Operations, HR leaders and Workday team members to influence process and system decisions, advance shared priorities, and deliver outcomes that extend beyond an individual's primary area of expertise.
