North America Repower is a major growth platform within GE Vernova's Onshore Wind business. Through modernization and life-extension programs, we help customers increase asset value, boost fleet performance, and extend turbine life.

As Repower Project Director, you will own the execution and financial performance of the North America Repower project portfolio. You will set direction across multiple concurrent programs and lead the Project Managers who deliver them.

You will partner with Commercial, Engineering, Sourcing, Contract Management, Field Operations, Finance, Service, and Operations leaders to deliver strong results for our customers and our business.

As part of the ONW NAM Projects leadership team, you will set execution standards, strengthen organizational capability, grow future project leaders, and influence decisions that drive the growth and profitability of the business.

Job Description

Operational Excellence

  • Establish standard work, governance, and continuous improvement practices, and align Project Management, Engineering, Sourcing, Contract Management, Field Operations, Installation, Commissioning, and Service teams.

Risk, Contract & Commercial Management

  • Manage portfolio risks, claims, change orders, disputes, and negotiations, ensuring contractual compliance and delivery of customer commitments.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, contractual requirements, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, construction, field operations, renewable energy, engineering, or a related industrial sector.

  • Deep knowledge of wind energy project execution and repower operations.
  • Proven success leading high-performing project teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong executive presence, customer relationship skills, and ability to influence across functions.
  • Strong commercial, contractual, financial, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset that balances customer, operational, and business goals.
