This role requires a dedicated Workday expert who can proactively manage and enhance system functionality, particularly within the Absence and Benefits modules. The Sr. People Systems Analyst will work closely with the HR team and employees at all levels, demonstrating sharp focus and organizational skills to manage the data, policies, processes, and details crucial for a healthy and functional company and culture.

  • Manage and optimize Workday's Absence and Benefits modules, including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance to ensure efficient and accurate processes.
  • Own and troubleshoot all file data feeds for benefits carriers within Workday, and manage the build and maintenance of connectors for cross-system functionality and single sign-on related to Absence and Benefits integrations.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance within Workday, specifically for Absence and Benefits data, including a functional understanding of data compliance for other countries such as CAN, EMEA, and APAC.

  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot Workday system issues for the HR team, department leadership, and individual employees in a timely manner, with a particular focus on Absence and Benefits module functionalities.
  • Educate and train HR team members on Workday updates, new functionalities, and best practices, particularly for Absence and Benefits processes, based on release and upgrade cycles.
  • Liaise and partner with IT and other departments to ensure data integrity, including troubleshooting any issues with Workday file feeds, data imports, and other program interfaces.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors for HR systems and tools, contributing to the development of proper training and documentation for system use and maintenance.
  • Execute HR System implementations, including platform design and build, testing, troubleshooting, and training, with a strong emphasis on Workday implementations.
  • Perform projects as assigned by leadership, demonstrating time management finesse while taking on multiple projects simultaneously.

What You'll Bring:

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including configuration, security, business processes, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with Workday Absence and Workday Benefits modules, including setup, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Exceptional technical skills and deep knowledge of Workday report writing tools.
  • Ability to extract and combine data from multiple databases, and to analyze data to detect meaningful trends and patterns, particularly from Workday.
  • 5+ years of related experience in HRIS or People Systems, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to end users with limited technical knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently, multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial and customer-focused work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for system issues.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities and goal achievement.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.

We’re Even More Excited If You Have:
