About this job

At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world. Founded in 2012, we’re revolutionizing the real estate industry with our end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to seller and buyer clients.

We’re looking for a Senior Program Manager to join Integrated Services. Think of it as a Chief of Staff-style role: you’ll be the operational engine, connective tissue, and trusted right hand to the Integrated Services leadership team across title, escrow, mortgage, insurance, home warranty, and emerging verticals.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you’ll own the program management of the leadership team's strategic agenda and key integration projects. You’ll engage across every part of the business, from the operating cadence and cross-vertical initiatives to Board materials, All-Hands, and special projects. The role is a balance of strategic thinking and sharp, relentless execution.

What you’ll do

  1. Run the team’s operating system
    • Own the business cadence: Build agendas for and continuously improve the Integrated Services rhythm of business: weekly leadership syncs, monthly business reviews, and quarterly strategic planning.
    • Drive accountability: Track critical next steps, strategic initiatives, and deliverables across the organization so work is managed tightly, communicated clearly, and blockers and dependencies get cleared.
    • Optimize how we work: Standardize processes, decision frameworks, and project management tools to increase speed-to-solution and reduce operational drag.
  2. Shape the strategic agenda and communications
    • Internal comms: Own the content and execution of All-Hands meetings, Board meetings, executive flash reports, and team updates up, down, and across the organization.
    • Enterprise Communications partnership: Serve as the primary liaison to Enterprise Communications so our priorities and narrative show up clearly in company-wide messaging.
    • Represent leadership: Act as a trusted representative for leadership in key forums, keeping executive partners and stakeholders aligned.
    • Build the narrative: Turn complex data and updates into clear, story-driven presentations on progress, risks, and priorities.
  3. Lead special projects
    • Research and deep dives: Take on ad hoc analyses, diligence on new opportunities, and research that informs leadership decisions.
    • Build what’s missing: Launch internal programs, tools, and playbooks when you see a gap in how the team operates.
    • Manage the network: Keep track of key relationships and follow-ups across business partners, enterprise functions, and external stakeholders.

What this role is not

  • Not a people-management role. You’ll lead through influence, driving outcomes across teams that don’t report to you.
  • Not a line-of-business operator seat. You won’t run a P&L or a production team day to day. Instead, you’ll get a rare, enterprise-level view of how a multi-vertical transaction services business is built and scaled.
  • Not all glamorous. Much of the work happens behind the scenes: chasing next steps, tightening decks, organizing calendars and travel plans, cleaning up trackers, and living in your inbox and Slack. If that sounds energizing rather than tedious, this role is for you!

Who we’re looking for

People from many backgrounds can excel here, including consulting, strategy and operations, finance, startups, real estate, and financial services. A few profiles that could be a great fit:

  • The aspiring operator or GM who wants a front-row seat to how executives run and integrate a multi-business portfolio.
  • The curious generalist who loves learning new businesses quickly and is excited about real estate, fintech, and transaction services.
  • The program manager who keeps the trains running on time with little oversight, using judgment, creativity, and drive.

You might be a great fit if

You’re laser-focused on execution and organized and reliable above all else. You can get read into a complex business problem, propose a solution, win buy-in, help implement it, track next steps, and move on to the next thing. You don’t need deep real estate expertise on day one, but you’re eager to learn the business fast. You’re a low-ego teammate who takes initiative and anticipates needs before they arise. You’re curious and creative, yet analytical and rigorous.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5+ years in project management, business operations, corporate strategy, or a similar high-velocity, executive-facing role.
  • Operational rigor: A track record of establishing and running a business cadence, tracking cross-functional priorities, and driving accountability without direct authority.
  • Autonomy and ownership: A self-starter who thrives with minimal oversight and takes complete end-to-end ownership of deliverables and outcomes.
  • Customer obsession: Empathy for the needs of real estate professionals, employees, and consumers alike. You design processes with the end user in mind, so efficiency never comes at the expense of a seamless customer experience.
  • Communication and influence: Outstanding written and verbal communication, and the ability to work comfortably with senior executives and enterprise communications teams.

Compass Integrated Services delivers transaction services designed to support the full real estate lifecycle – title and escrow, mortgage, insurance, and home warranty – to deliver a seamless, compliant transaction from contract to close. It combines national strength with local precision, leveraging deep local expertise while being backed by the scale and resources of Compass International Holdings, enabling streamlined, transparent, and efficient support for homebuyers and sellers.
