- Practical experience with AI development to improve product experiences
- Hands-on experience with large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming; experience with the languages and frameworks used in our stack is a plus
- Solid foundations in relational and NoSQL databases — data modeling, query optimization, and operational considerations
- Experience in finance including expensing or travel platforms is a strong plus
- Fin Tech experience is a strong plus
- Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions in writing, in design reviews, and across teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Benefits:
- Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled
- Mental health benefits
- Family building benefits

- 401(k) plan with company match to help save for your future
- In addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off
- 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible
- Subsidized commuter benefits
- Monthly Lyft credits and complimentary Lyft Pink membership
