About this job
Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators.
At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there.
A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.
As a Software Engineer on the ROS team, you'll help shape the future of how we run the enterprise. You'll build the products and data platform that map how Roblox works — who our people are, how our organization is structured, and what work is happening — through products like Work Tracker, People App, Builder Profiles, and Org Chart. With AI transforming the way we work, you'll help make this company data trusted and accessible to both employees and AI agents, helping Roblox operate at 10x efficiency.
You Will
- Work across engineering, product, finance, people, and talent teams to innovate how we run the company, defining and refining requirements for high-impact internal products.
- Drive alignment across teams, shaping product requirements and ensuring everyone is working toward the same vision.
- Lead projects from end to end, ensuring they are well-planned, high-quality, and impactful.
- Work across a wide range of technologies, from frontend and backend to data pipelines and infrastructure, learning quickly to solve complex challenges.
- Uphold high engineering standards, building scalable, performant, and future-proof systems.
- Explore and apply AI to improve efficiency, embracing new tools and approaches that drive a 10x impact.
You Have
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering (internships included), with a track record of delivering high-quality production code.
- Coding Proficiency: Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., TypeScript, Python), with experience in a frontend framework such as React.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms, with an aptitude for debugging complex issues.
- Communication: Ability to work clearly and collaboratively with engineers and non-technical partners
- Education: A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
