About this job
Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
As a Supply-Demand Planner at Pure Storage, you will orchestrate the end-to-end demand signal that powers our industry-leading enterprise data storage platforms. In close partnership with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and premier global manufacturing partners, you will transform volatile market dynamics into resilient supply strategies. Your ownership ensures our cutting-edge flash and compute hardware reaches customers seamlessly while driving operational agility, mitigating inventory exposure, and directly enabling Pure’s continued global expansion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Demand Forecasting & Signal Integration: Synthesize multi-channel demand streams across Sales, Product Management, Finance, and key customer accounts to build an accurate master demand signal that directly steers procurement, builds schedules, and maximizes product availability.
- Supply Risk Mitigation & Lifecycle Strategy: Architect and execute inventory strategies to eliminate component shortages and prevent Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) exposure, leading smooth transitions across product lifecycles and critical component generations.
- Global Supplier Co-Planning & S&OP Leadership: Partner with key component suppliers, flash drive manufacturers, and server contract manufacturers on request-commit processes to secure supply commitments, while delivering executive-level forecast intelligence across monthly and quarterly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) forums.
- Market Intelligence & Predictive Modeling: Evaluate global supply chain trends, geopolitical dynamics, and component market shifts to model attach and fill rates, ensuring highly accurate sub-assembly and key commodity projections across compute, storage, and networking hardware.
- Process Evolution & Scalability: Champion the adoption and optimization of advanced demand planning tools, data models, and automated workflows, scaling team planning capabilities and elevating forecasting precision as Pure expands.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Supply-Demand Planning & Manufacturing Domain Expertise: Proven capability in demand forecasting, master production scheduling (MPS), and finished goods/component planning within the technology, hardware, or hyperscale infrastructure sector, with hands-on experience collaborating directly with contract manufacturers.
- Hyperscale Hardware & Commodity Acumen: Deep technical and commercial understanding of hardware architectures and global commodity supply dynamics, including compute, storage, networking, and critical sub-assemblies (such as CPUs, NAND, DRAM, and PCIe/HBA cards).
- Advanced Data Modeling & Systems Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, dedicated demand management platforms, and advanced analytical tools to translate complex datasets into actionable inventory strategies and reliable statistical forecasts.
- Cross-Functional Influence & Communication: Exceptional ability to align diverse cross-functional teams—including Sales, Finance, Product Management, and external executive vendor partners—translating complex supply chain data into clear business narratives and decisive S&OP recommendations.
- Process Innovation & Systems Execution: Track record of driving continuous operational improvement, designing scalable supply chain workflows, and successfully adopting or integrating enterprise planning tools (ERP/S&OP) to support high-growth environments.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
