- Partner with Engineering and Design to influence supplier capability alignment, and cost targets
- Lead RFQ strategy, supplier down-selection, and business award recommendations
Commercial & Supplier Ownership
- Independently lead complex negotiations covering piece price, tooling, NRE/EDT, MOQs, lead times, and warranty terms
- Own and manage Accessories-related MSAs, SOWs, and long-term agreements
- Act as the primary commercial escalation point for accessories suppliers
- Ensure supplier commercial compliance with Lucid policies and accessory business requirements
Development, Launch & Lifecycle Management
- Partner with SQE and Engineering on APQP, PPAP, Run@Rate, and launch readiness for accessory programs
- Ensure Accessories suppliers meet quality, timing, and branding expectations
- Own end-to-end lifecycle management, including cost reductions, running changes, dual sourcing, and end-of-life strategies
- Drive smooth transitions from development to series production and service sustainment
Cost, Performance & Risk Management
- Own cost savings and cost avoidance targets for the Accessories portfolio
- Establish and review supplier scorecards (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness)
- Identify and mitigate supply, cost, and capacity risks proactively
- Monitor market trends, materials, and manufacturing technologies relevant to accessories
Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence
- Serve as the Accessories commercial lead across Service, Engineering, Design, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Legal
- Mentor and guide GSM-level team members supporting regional execution
- Provide executive-level reporting on Accessories sourcing status, supplier health, cost outlook, and launch readiness
- Drive standardization and scalable processes for Accessories sourcing globally
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, in an automotive or manufacturing environment, for Direct Materials (preferred)
- Proven success leading strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations for finished goods and assemblies
- Experience supporting product development and launch cycles
- Strong understanding of quality systems, lifecycle cost management, and supplier performance management
- Advanced analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management capability
