About the Role

Happen Bank is looking for a Sr Product Manager to help shape and deliver the technology and tools that support our Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) organization. In this role, you'll partner across FCC, Fraud Operations, Engineering, Data, and Risk to modernize investigator workflows, strengthen compliance capabilities, and improve how financial crime investigations are managed.

You'll help define the long-term product vision, lead product discovery, and deliver scalable solutions that improve investigator efficiency, consistency, and quality while meeting the regulatory and operational requirements of a financial institution.

What You'll Do

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Help define the product vision and strategy for FCC technology, including platforms, workflows, and investigator tools
  • Translate operational challenges, investigator needs, and business objectives into an outcome-driven product roadmap, prioritizing investments based on measurable impact, success metrics, and strategic alignment
  • Partner with FCC leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align product priorities, technology capabilities, and operational requirements

Product Discovery & Outcome Ownership

  • Lead product discovery to understand investigator behavior, workflow inefficiencies, system gaps, and operational challenges, validating solutions through research, prototyping, data, and experimentation
  • Define clear success criteria for product initiatives and use performance data, telemetry, and qualitative feedback to evaluate results and continuously improve outcomes
  • Foster evidence-based decision-making, helping teams iterate quickly and adjust priorities when solutions are not delivering the intended impact

Execution & Delivery Excellence

  • Drive delivery of FCC tools and platform enhancements that improve investigator productivity, operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to balance delivery speed, technical feasibility, user experience, and long-term platform health while ensuring solutions meet regulatory, security, and risk requirements
  • Develop and improve operational processes, partner on system and data architecture, and implement and monitor controls that support effective FCC operations
  • Build a deep understanding of data sources across platforms and partner with Fraud Operations to develop cohesive case management and investigation processes

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Establish effective ways of working across Product, FCC, Operations, and Technology teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Influence decisions across Technology, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Servicing to support product alignment and platform scalability
  • Build trusted partnerships with FCC leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, clearly communicating product roadmaps, priorities, progress, and outcomes to senior and executive leadership
  • Share product management best practices and help strengthen product discovery, execution, and collaboration across teams

About You

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, including experience supporting Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) technology, products, or related solutions
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Direct experience developing or supporting Financial Crimes Compliance technology solutions, including fraud, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and investigation workflows
  • Experience contributing to financial crime prevention and deterrence strategies and translating compliance requirements into product capabilities
  • Experience using AI to solve compliance and FCC challenges, with an understanding of its limitations, data sensitivity, and the importance of human judgment and oversight
  • Proven track record improving operational efficiency, consistency, or service quality through product innovation
  • Strong product judgment with the ability to balance investigator needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience operating in complex, regulated environments and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Ability to make decisions amid ambiguity and incomplete information, using data, research, and structured learning to guide direction
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment, balancing competing priorities and creating alignment across stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear decisions and actionable recommendations
  • You take ownership of outcomes, proactively identify opportunities to improve team workflows, and share effective approaches with colleagues to strengthen product delivery and execution
