About this job

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

At Anduril, we're not just changing the game – we're redefining it. As our Staff People Program Manager of Production, you will partner with leadership and teams from across the business to unpack ambiguous problems and build lasting, scalable solutions for our production employees. The People Programs Team operates at the intersection of people strategy and operational execution, driving programs that enable Anduril to scale at the pace the mission demands.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Staff People Program Manager to join our People Program Team. As Anduril continues to scale its manufacturing operations and production footprint, this role will define and lead the strategic execution of people programs that enable production excellence. From workforce planning and labor strategy to production workforce readiness, you will create deep cross-functional alignment with our Production, Legal, and Operations partners.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You will be the go-to expert on the People Team for production workforce programs, acting as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership while driving hands-on execution. You will proactively address systemic risks across production programs, and frame critical trade-offs for senior decision-makers. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in production or manufacturing environments, a commanding executive presence, and a relentless bias for action.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Define and lead the strategic approach to production-focused people programs, influencing high-level business priorities and ensuring alignment between People Team initiatives and Production org objectives.
  • Own the end-to-end execution of multiple complex, cross-functional programs spanning workforce planning, onboarding, training readiness, and labor compliance across Anduril's manufacturing sites.
  • Serve as the primary People Team interface to Production, Facilities, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership, building deep trust and translating production needs into scalable people solutions.
  • Proactively identify and address systemic risks across production people programs, managing sensitive relationships and framing critical trade-offs for senior decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive program schedules, risk registers, and stakeholder communication plans, ensuring on-time delivery against aggressive production timelines.
  • Partner with the broader People Team (Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation) to design data-driven workforce strategies that support production scaling goals.
  • Implement innovative program methodologies that simplify and streamline production people processes, cutting through complexity to deliver efficient, user-focused operations.
  • Craft compelling narratives and executive-level communications that convey a clear vision, progress, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, operations, management consulting, or a related field, with significant experience in production, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and lead strategic program execution across multiple complex, interdependent workstreams with broad cross-functional dependencies.
  • Deep expertise in workforce planning, labor strategy, or production operations within a high-growth or manufacturing environment.
  • Track record of serving as a trusted advisor and SME to senior leadership, proactively navigating ambiguity and driving results without clear direction.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop program managers at earlier career stages.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to executive audiences.
  • You are motivated by our mission. We are working to solve the biggest problems in defense. You have a keen interest in partnering with production leaders to accomplish manufacturing at scale.
  • You are both high ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility.
  • You do not wait on others to solve problems. You proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself.
  • You are comfortable with high-visibility work that requires communications to large groups and senior leadership.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and extract actionable insights that support business objectives.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting production ramp-ups, facility launches, or site expansions in a manufacturing or defense environment.
  • Familiarity with production workforce compliance requirements (e.g., labor law, shift scheduling, safety training).
  • Experience with change management methodologies and large-scale organizational transitions.
  • PMP or equivalent program management certification.
