What will you do?

  • You will act as the Americas tax business partner, providing practical and commercially focused tax guidance across the project lifecycle.
  • You will support tendering and business development activities by advising on tax-efficient contract structures and project execution models.
  • You will review customer contracts, bids, and commercial arrangements to identify tax risks, opportunities, and required contractual protections.
  • You will assess and communicate the tax impact of projects on pricing, profitability, and cash flow.
  • You will advise on federal, state, and local tax matters, including corporate income tax, sales and use tax, franchise tax, property tax, and other business taxes.
  • You will lead nexus assessments, registrations, and compliance requirements as Linxon enters new jurisdictions and project locations.
  • You will oversee sales and use tax processes, exemption certificate management, tax accruals, and related compliance activities.
  • You will coordinate income tax filings, tax provisions, estimated payments, and related reporting requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will monitor legislative and regulatory developments and translate changes into actionable business guidance.
  • You will support direct and indirect tax matters in Canada and Puerto Rico while helping prepare for future expansion across Latin America.
  • You will advise on cross-border tax matters, including withholding taxes, permanent establishment, transfer pricing, customs, and indirect taxes.
  • You will manage tax audits, notices, examinations, and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • You will maintain tax governance frameworks, compliance calendars, tax controls, and risk management processes.
  • You will partner with Finance to support tax accounting, provisions, forecasts, and reporting requirements.
  • You will develop tax guidance, training materials, and tools for commercial, project, procurement, and finance teams.
  • You will manage relationships with external tax advisors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective support.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and systems across the business.

Who you are?

  • You have experience managing tax compliance and advisory activities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance risk management and commercial objectives.
  • You are comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • You are an effective communicator who can explain complex tax matters clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are proactive, collaborative, and focused on delivering business-oriented solutions.
