- Follow command-line instructions to perform necessary hardware configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking environments, including Cisco switch/router configurations, VLANs, and routing.
- Install, configure, and rack servers, switches, and related equipment.
- Run and terminate Ethernet and fiber optic cabling to industry standards.
- Test and certify all cabling installations.
- Coordinate installation of electrical power systems to support Space Systems hardware.
- Ensure UPS systems, PDUs, and grounding are installed correctly.
- Work with electricians to align with load requirements and safety standards.
- Ensure all installations meet local, state, and federal building/electrical codes.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Conduct site surveys to plan infrastructure layouts.
- Act as the point of contact with subcontractors (electricians, low-voltage installers, general contractors).
- Schedule and oversee subcontractor work to ensure quality and timelines are met.
- Provide documentation, as-built drawings, and project reports.
- Follow OSHA safety requirements for construction and electrical environments.
- Maintain compliance with TIA/EIA, BICSI, and NEC standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of electrical systems, both low-voltage and high-voltage.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with customers and team members.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%.
- Proficient in working with hands and tools to assemble, repair, and maintain technical hardware in the field.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from start to finish.
- Proven experience in server installation, cable routing (fiber and Ethernet), and electrical coordination.
- Hands-on experience with rack installation, patch panels, and cable management systems.
- Excellent communication skills for working with subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Certifications (preferred but not required): BICSI, CompTIA Server+, OSHA 30, low-voltage contractor license.

- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
- Military background and active security clearance
