As a Technical Product Manager II at Blue Origin, you will contribute to execution within one of TeraWave's program domains — supporting hardware, software, and systems workstreams as the program builds toward launch. You will work closely with a Senior PM to translate customer and business needs into well-defined requirements, maintain program visibility tools, and help drive day-to-day execution on your assigned area. This role is built for a technically curious, ownership-oriented PM ready to grow into progressively larger accountability.

You will own clearly scoped workstreams within a TeraWave program domain — supporting customer-facing deliverables, maintaining schedule and risk artifacts, and monitoring the engineering decision log to surface issues before they become surprises. You will build trusted cross-functional relationships and help run the mechanisms that keep the program on track.

Special Mentions:

• Relocation assistance is available for this position

• Travel expectations: ~15–20% for site visits, design reviews, partner meetings, and customer engagements

Voice of the Customer and Requirements

• Support the voice of the customer (VOC) within your assigned area by conducting benchmarking research, tagging themes in customer feedback, and synthesizing findings into documented summaries.

• Draft clear requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for a scoped product area or program component; work with a Senior PM to ensure traceability across engineering, operations, and Sales.

• Monitor the engineering decision log for trades with customer or SLA impact; proactively flag items to the Senior PM or Head of Product.

• Participate in requirements reviews and contribute product input for your assigned area.

• Support competitive benchmarking and willingness-to-pay research to inform SLA and pricing inputs for your segment.

Mechanisms and Operating Cadence

• Maintain decision logs, and action trackers for your program area; surface aging items proactively to your manager.

• Support escalation prepared by Senior PMs by providing clear, factual status and risk inputs on your assigned area.

Measurement, Analysis, and Continuous Improvement

• Track schedule and delivery metrics for your assigned workstream; surface variances to your manager with context and a proposed path forward.

• Update pricing comparison models and segment dashboards.

Collaboration

• Build trusted working relationships with engineering, program management, and Sales teams; serve as the reliable point of contact for your assigned workstream.

• Represent your product area in cross-functional working groups and engineering reviews; contribute to clear decisions with documented outcomes.

2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field.

• 2–5 years of product or technical program management experience.

• Experience working with hardware or software engineering teams to define, document, and track requirements through a delivery cycle.

• Financial analysis skills: ability to read and contribute inputs to unit economics models, pricing comparison sheets, or segment-level dashboards.

• Demonstrated ability to write clear requirements documents, status narratives, user stories, or program updates that stakeholders can act on.

• Data analysis skills and comfort with product metrics dashboards.

• Familiarity with SLA structure, contract terms, or willingness-to-pay frameworks.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear working-level briefings for cross-functional audiences.

• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

3. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with enterprise B2B or government-facing products in aerospace, telecommunications, satellite, or adjacent technical environments.

• Knowledge of satellite communications fundamentals (throughput, latency, coverage, or RF spectrum) preferred; demonstrated ability to become expert in an unfamiliar technical domain.

• Exposure to hardware/software co-development programs: integration planning, test and verification, or operational readiness milestones.

• MBA is optional but valued; equivalent demonstrated product ownership and analytical rigor accepted.
