Join us in using data, bold thinking, and a commitment to innovation to help clear the way for millions of Americans to achieve more.

About the Role

Happen Bank is looking for a UX Content Strategist to help shape and evolve our digital customer experience following our recent rebrand. In this role, you'll develop content strategies and guidelines that bring our brand voice to life across web and mobile experiences, making complex financial concepts clear, simple, and engaging.

You'll partner closely with UX Design, Research, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Compliance to develop customer-centered content throughout the product lifecycle. You'll also help advance how AI and automation support content creation, validation, and ongoing improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute content strategies for mobile and web experiences in partnership with UX Design, Research, Product, Brand, Creative, Marketing, and Compliance teams
  • Write clear, concise, user-friendly content for Happen Bank's digital products, ensuring consistency with brand voice, customer needs, and content guidelines
  • Audit, proofread, and edit UX content, identifying opportunities to improve clarity, consistency, and effectiveness across digital experiences
  • Explore and contribute to AI-enabled tools and automation, including LLM-based solutions, to validate, improve, and test customer-facing content
  • Research user preferences, mental models, and industry trends to inform content decisions and improve the customer experience
  • Translate business requirements, user feedback, and research insights into content solutions that support customer needs and business objectives
  • Partner with UX Design, Research, and Product teams on user flows, usability testing, A/B testing, and digital experience improvements, applying learnings across products and touchpoints
  • Collaborate with Designers and Product Managers to refine UX writing workflows and incorporate AI-assisted tools into the product development process
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure customer-facing content meets regulatory requirements and receives appropriate approvals before publication

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, or related digital product content roles
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services or fintech, with an understanding of regulated financial products and customer communications
  • Experience integrating content strategy and UX writing into product development processes, including environments where dedicated UX content practices are still evolving
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to apply them to clear, effective digital content
  • Experience using or developing AI-assisted tools, including LLM-based solutions, to review, validate, and improve customer-facing content
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across UX Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Compliance
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex or abstract concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying the right partners and resources, and independently moving projects forward
  • You actively look for ways AI can improve your work, from accelerating content research and development to strengthening review and validation processes, while maintaining sound judgment around accuracy, brand consistency, data sensitivity, and regulatory requirements
