About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

What You’ll Be Doing & Why It Matters

We’re Salesforce, the world’s #1 AI CRM, and we’re building the Agentic Enterprise — a future where humans and AI agents collaborate to drive efficiency, growth, and transformation at scale. We believe business is the greatest platform for change, and we’re looking for ambitious, purpose-driven leaders who want to help shape what comes next. If that’s you, you’ve come to the right place.

As the Vice President of Experience Design, you’ll drive the overall user experience across two interconnected strategic initiatives: the Informatica portfolio of Data Management products, and the Enterprise Agentic Harness (EAH) — Salesforce’s shared infrastructure for context, agency, action, governance, and trust across the agentic enterprise. Together, these represent the foundational design surface for how enterprises orchestrate AI at scale.

You will be responsible for the experience design vision, strategy, and implementation across both domains — shaping how businesses interact with their data, and how humans and AI agents collaborate across Salesforce’s portfolio. This role is a node in a shared design graph spanning Platform, Data 360, Analytics, Agentforce, MuleSoft, and Informatica, requiring both deep domain ownership and cross-cloud structural integration. You will lead a global team of world-class designers and report directly to the SVP of Salesforce Experience Design, sitting on that organization’s leadership team.

Core Responsibilities & Scope

  • Build a culture of customer obsession and develop a compelling design vision shaped by design thinking principles, including the vision for agentic enterprise experiences — multi-agent orchestration, parallel workstreams, live system topology, and governance flows — that sets the bar for how humans and AI agents work together at production scale.
  • Lead intuitive, end-to-end design solutions across data management and agentic workflows, from conception through post-launch, that enhance usability, accessibility, and personalization, and champion responsible AI design with a focus on trust, user control, governance, auditability, and lineage.
  • Operate as a platform advocate across a multi-cloud, multi-GM environment — partnering with GMs and product leaders across Platform, Data 360, Agentforce, MuleSoft, Tableau, and Informatica to land shared design investments and modular, reusable design patterns that scale across the portfolio.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary global design team in a culture of trust, psychological safety, and customer obsession, while establishing workflows that enable rapid, customer-driven design innovation and adopting emerging agentic design, AI-assisted workflows, and rapid-prototyping tools — including hands-on personal practice with AI builder tools.

Minimum Requirements

  • Solid track record of executive design leadership UX experience, managing and building teams across global, matrixed organizations while delivering enterprise products and solutions.
  • Experience making key contributions to innovative, successful products with a strong understanding of AI technologies and agentic systems.
  • Degree or equivalent practical experience in HCI, Industrial/Visual Design, Behavioral Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience with user-centered design principles, UX design best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading global teams that created high-quality enterprise software — ideally including data infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, or agentic systems — and success driving the evolution of sophisticated design systems
  • Hands-on AI-native builder behaviors — personal experimentation with AI tools, prototyping, and design at the agentic layer, not just organizational direction — and insatiable curiosity to experiment, iterate, and scale with cutting-edge technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across multi-stakeholder, multi-GM environments and land shared platform investments against competing organizational incentives; makes hard decisions and is accountable for them, even when the outcome is negative
  • Very strong presentation, storytelling, and cross-functional communication skills; expertise refining the end-to-end customer journey; understanding of key business metrics and data and how they connect to design

What Does Success Look Like?

  • Delivering easy-to-adopt, impactful data solutions that scale to power Salesforce’s vision for the Agentic Enterprise
  • Defining and shipping the design language for enterprise agentic experiences — including how humans supervise, audit, and collaborate with AI agents at production scale
  • Establishing EAH design primitives (context, agency, action, governance, trust) as shared infrastructure adopted across the Salesforce cloud portfolio
  • You’ll be the design champion and deliver the creative vision to build next-generation products and services
  • You have experience cultivating and sustaining a design-first, customer-first culture across the business

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
