About this job
Modern Treasury is hiring a VP of Product, reporting to the CEO, to drive the company’s next phase of growth. Our mission is to build the most trusted platform for global money movement. Companies from YC startups to the Fortune 500 move $300B+ annually on our platform. We are rapidly scaling our Payments platform. And, pending approval, our plan is to open our own national trust bank next year, which will further help us deliver on our mission. Altogether this is an exciting opportunity for a product leader who wants to help shape the future of money movement.
This person will partner closely with the CEO and management team on company and product strategy, developing and scaling our go-to-market (GTM) motion, and delivering high quality products for our customers.
ABOUT MODERN TREASURY
Modern Treasury provides trusted infrastructure for money movement. We help teams launch and scale payment experiences in days, not months. With best-in-class developer tools and a single API for fiat and stablecoins, plus built-in compliance, ledgering, and reporting, Modern Treasury enables businesses to move money instantly, reliably, and at scale.
What You’ll Do
Build product: our success depends on delivering products that drive value for our customers. This person is responsible for running a product organization that consistently chooses impactful areas of focus and that collaborates effectively with engineering to ship high quality products.
Sell: product doesn’t operate in a lab at Modern Treasury. Our expectation is that you get in front of companies yourself, early and often. You also know how to teach others how to do the same - whether it’s your team or your GTM partners learning a new product.
Grow your team: you will be responsible for developing our current team of product managers and recruiting new teammates.
Who We're Looking For
You’ve operated in a high-growth startup environment.
You have fintech experience in the infrastructure or application layer, with payments experience as a strong plus.
You're a strong communicator and storyteller who can represent the business clearly and credibly with boards, investors, and other external stakeholders.
10+ years in product, including 5+ years leading product teams.
You have a history of operating as a player-coach. Our expectation is that you will lead by example and learn by doing.
Prior experience with developer/API products is a plus.
