About this job
POSITION SUMMARY
Adobe's Marketing Finance organization is reinventing how it operates from the ground up, with workflow automation and AI at the center. This role makes that happen. You'll embed with our marketing finance teams, learn their craft, and design, build and maintain the tools, pipelines, and AI-powered workflows that change how they work, while shaping Adobe's IT systems to meet marketing finance needs. You'll measure yourself by one question: did I make someone’s job easier?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Embedded Partnership & Workflow Transformation
- Embed with marketing finance teams to understand the real workflow, the friction, and the underlying goal, not just the surface-level ask.
- Rapidly prototype solutions, take immediate feedback, and iterate until the tool fits how people actually work.
- Train teammates to use what you built, so new solutions are adopted and become part of how the marketing finance team works.
2. Building & Maintaining Automation, AI & Data Solutions
- Build, improve, and maintain the pipelines, data marts, dashboards, automation and agentic workflows that streamline spend management.
- Design your solutions to be scalable, reliable, and well documented. Train IT and marketing finance teammates so they can provide maintenance coverage.
- Test emerging AI capabilities hands-on and champion what is genuinely useful, not just what is hyped.
3. IT Partnership & Scaling Across Finance
- Influence IT to improve upstream systems and data sources, to build sustainable support for marketing finance.
- Share what you build, reuse what others have built, and help establish the playbooks and patterns that scale good ideas across all of Finance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of technical experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics.
- Expertise in Python and SQL, plus DevOps tooling such as Git, GitHub, CI/CD, and Jira.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered tools, automations, or agentic systems. Familiar with evaluation of AI/ML systems.
- Experience translating business needs into requirements for IT or engineering teams and partnering with them to make the change.
- Strong communication skills, able to make technical ideas accessible to non-technical audiences at every stage of AI fluency.
- Genuine excitement about AI and a first instinct to get your hands on every new capability. Finance experience is not required.
- Preferred: experience with AI development platforms (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, agent frameworks, Azure, AWS) or building tools and playbooks that outlasted your involvement.
