About this job

Technology is changing faster than the public policies that govern it. As Senior Global Public Policy Manager, you will help us anticipate what's next, make sense of complex issues, and shape the conversations that influence innovation around the world.

The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for a public policy leader to join our Global Government Relations and Public Policy team. We work across Adobe to understand new public policy challenges, decide where we should engage, and help leaders respond as technology, government, and society evolve. In this role, you will develop positions and strategies on issues including artificial intelligence, digital trust, creator rights, competition, privacy, consumer protection, and the future of work.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, connecting ideas, and turning uncertainty into action. You will work with colleagues across Adobe and with policymakers, industry groups, researchers, and other experts around the world. If you like building strategy, influencing decisions, and helping leaders prepare for what's ahead, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Help us build Adobe's approach to technology and public policy issues around the world.
  • Spot emerging trends and explain what they could mean for Adobe, our customers, and our industry.
  • Turn complicated issues into clear recommendations, policy positions, and action plans.
  • Lead work from early research through strategy, internal alignment, and external engagement.
  • Advise senior leaders on risks, opportunities, and possible paths forward.
  • Work with Product, Legal, Engineering, Communications, Trust & Safety, and Government Relations to build shared plans and move work forward.
  • Develop policy positions, executive briefings, presentations, submissions, and advocacy materials.
  • Build relationships with policymakers, industry groups, researchers, and outside experts.
  • Represent Adobe in policy discussions and help shape outcomes in markets around the world.
  • Help our teams prepare for what's next.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 8+ years of experience in public policy, government, business strategy, consulting, public affairs, political campaigns, or a related field.
  • An interest in technology and how it affects people, businesses, and governments.
  • Strong writing and speaking skills, with the ability to explain complicated ideas clearly.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make sense of incomplete or conflicting information.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and helping them make decisions.
  • A record of building support across teams with different priorities.
  • The ability to develop a strategy, put it into action, and adjust as circumstances change.
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and moving work forward without a playbook.
  • The ability to balance long-term goals with near-term results.
  • A willingness to learn new subjects quickly and take ownership from problem definition through delivery.
  • Experience working across countries or adapting an approach to different political, regulatory, or market settings.

What Sets You Apart

  • You ask good questions and quickly identify what matters.
  • You connect policy developments to business goals and turn insight into action.
  • You build trust, listen to different views, and help groups reach decisions.
  • You are as comfortable drafting a memo as you are leading a meeting or briefing an executive.
  • You take ownership, follow through, and focus on results.
  • You are excited to help us shape what's next!
