About this job
Chief of Staff to the CEO — Maven AGI
Company Overview
Maven AGI sits at the center of the hottest intersection in tech right now: AI and customer experience. While most "AI support" tools still focus on FAQs and deflection, Maven's agents actually do the work — autonomously interacting with customers, personalizing the conversation, and resolving complex issues, not just providing information.
That's not a soft ROI story. It's the most direct cost-displacement case in enterprise software today: real human work, replaced, at a fraction of the cost — not "savings if you use it well," but savings because the agent did the ticket instead of a person.
Founded in 2023 by executives from HubSpot, Google, and Stripe, Maven builds conversational AI agents that don't just answer customers — they act: going into a customer's account, finding the actual problem, and fixing it, with no human required. Customers like Dell, ServPro, HardRock, Tripadvisor, Clio, and Thumbtack rely on Maven, with independently verified results — customers report resolving 70–93% of interactions autonomously — and G2 has named Maven a High Performer and Best Meets Requirements across multiple categories this spring
Position Overview
We're hiring a Chief of Staff to the CEO to be a strategic partner to our CEO and leadership team as we scale. This role is for an analytical, execution-oriented leader who thrives where strategy, operations, and communication meet.
You'll be a force multiplier for the CEO. You'll drive alignment across the company, own critical initiatives, and make sure Maven executes with speed, clarity, and rigor. You'll work across product, go-to-market, engineering, and operations, turning company priorities into concrete plans and measurable outcomes. It's a high-impact seat with direct exposure to company strategy, executive decision-making, and what it takes to scale an AI-first enterprise business.
What You'll Do
Partner with the CEO on strategic planning, goal-setting, and execution across the company
Own and lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives, from new product bets to operational improvements
Act as the connective layer between teams so priorities, timelines, and outcomes stay aligned
Write executive briefings, internal communications, and decision memos that make complex topics clear
Spot gaps, risks, and opportunities early, and drive solutions before they escalate
Strengthen the operating cadence (OKRs, metrics, exec meetings, planning) so the company scales well
Represent the CEO in meetings when appropriate, and follow through so decisions turn into action
Who You Are
5+ years in a high-growth startup, management consulting, investment banking, product operations, or a similarly fast-paced environment
Background in venture capital or top-tier management consulting; VC experience strongly preferred
Deep familiarity with investor processes, including financial modeling, data room construction, and fundraising support
Track record of leading change management in fast-growing organizations
Strategic thinker who turns vision into structure, execution, and results
Influences outcomes across functions without formal authority
Thrives in ambiguity; prioritizes, executes, and iterates quickly on your own
Exceptional writer and communicator who can synthesize complex ideas clearly
Highly organized and detail-oriented across multiple high-stakes workstreams
Uses data and metrics to drive decisions and measure impact
Has led or supported company-wide initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders
Known for anticipating needs and acting before issues escalate
How You Show Up
We are customer champions. You put users at the center of your thinking, advocate for their needs, and design solutions that make their lives measurably better.
We are bold in action. You move with urgency and courage, unafraid to challenge convention and take smart risks in pursuit of meaningful outcomes.
We are data-driven and insight guided. You make thoughtful decisions grounded in evidence, combining data with intuition to guide strategy and execution.
We are stronger together. You bring others along, value diverse perspectives, and contribute to a culture of trust and shared ownership.
What We Offer
100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums covered for you, 80% for family
HSA and FSA plans available
Unlimited vacation and 100% paid parental leave
Free lunches, onsite gym, and commuter benefits for in-office employees
$1,000 home office stipend and $5,000/year for continuing education
Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and meaningful equity
~130 people, built from zero in under three years — small enough that your work is visible, big enough to already be running at Dell- and Tripadvisor-scale
Maven AGI is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and is committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels included.
Join us in changing the face of enterprise customer support.
