Join NVIDIA and help build our future! As the Global Process Owner (GPO) for Invoice to Pay (I2P), you will serve as a senior leader in our finance team at our Corporate Office in Santa Clara, CA. You will lead the entire Invoice to Pay process globally. You will define the vision, standards, and roadmap to provide a seamless, secure, compliant, and world-class experience for suppliers and internal partners. This is an outstanding chance to lead a critical function in a company known for innovation and excellence!
What you'll be doing:
- Manage the worldwide end-to-end Invoice to Pay process—from invoice receipt and capture through matching, approval, payment, and supplier inquiry—defining the strategy, standards, and multi-year roadmap.
- Define and govern global process development, policies, and procedures, ensuring consistency across regions, entities, and shared service centers while meeting local statutory requirements.
- Drive touchless processing through automation, AI/ML, OCR, and e-invoicing capabilities, partnering with IT and Finance Systems on ERP and tooling roadmaps.
- Establish and report global benchmarks and SLAs (e.g., touchless rate, first-pass match rate, cycle time, timely payment, cost per invoice) and lead continuous improvement to close performance gaps.
- Coordinate the I2P internal control framework, including SOX compliance, segregation of duties, payment fraud prevention, and audit readiness, in partnership with Internal Audit and Compliance.
- Act as a strategic collaborator with Procurement, Treasury, Tax, Controllership, and business leaders to coordinate upstream and downstream Procure to Pay processes and address cross-functional challenges.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of process leads and managers, building a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Champion change management for global process rollouts, system implementations, acquisition integrations, and new entity onboarding.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 15+ years of advancing experience in Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay, or Finance Operations.
- 5+ years in global process ownership or senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record designing and implementing global, end-to-end I2P processes in a complex, multi-entity, high-growth environment.
- Deep expertise in ERP platforms (e.g., SAP or Oracle) and I2P automation tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, OCR and e-invoicing solutions).
- Strong knowledge of SOX controls, global e-invoicing and indirect tax mandates, and payment compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation and change management initiatives across geographies.
- Practical experience applying AI tools and capabilities, including Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor, in a finance or business context.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and executive partner management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
- Lean Six Sigma or other process excellence certification.
- Experience deploying AI, machine learning, or automation solutions at scale in finance operations.
