Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Director, GSINC PMO & Integrated Delivery Lead within the Global Simplification and Innovation in Contracting program, GSINC.

Do you seek big, complex, and ambiguous challenges? Are you passionate about turning enterprise strategy into coordinated execution? Do you want to help build a capability that improves how Johnson & Johnson works with its employees, suppliers, customers, healthcare professionals, research partners, and other stakeholders?

GSINC is building an integrated, AI-enabled contracting capability designed to make contracting faster, simpler, more consistent, and more valuable to the enterprise. The program brings together process, policy, templates, technology, data, and intelligence to establish a scalable contracting foundation across Johnson & Johnson.

Purpose: The Director, GSINC PMO & Integrated Delivery Lead is the enterprise program-management and delivery-integration leader for this transformation. Reporting through the GSINC Transformation Office, the role converts approved priorities into one credible, actively managed roadmap across workstreams, business activation, change, readiness, value realization, and transition to sustained operations.

The Director leads the PMO team and assigned delivery resources, establishes common planning and governance standards, and gives leadership a decision-ready view of progress, dependencies, risks, capacity, and delivery confidence. Workstream and business leaders retain accountability for their scope, decisions, resources, quality, budgets, substantive deliverables, adoption, and outcomes; the PMO connects those commitments, tests their credibility, and drives cross-functional follow-through without replacing leader accountability.

You will be responsible for:

Integrated Roadmap and Delivery Planning

  • Own the GSINC integrated enterprise roadmap, milestone architecture, critical path, dependencies, delivery checkpoints, definitions of done, baselines, and forecasts.
  • Integrate workstream-owned plans into one enterprise view while keeping detailed task management with accountable delivery teams.
  • Assess sequencing, capacity, resource collisions, and deployment constraints; present practical options and trade-offs when commitments are at risk.

Execution Assurance and Recovery

  • Lead the integrated delivery cadence across workstreams and implementation or deployment trains, with clear visibility to scope, schedule, quality, budget, readiness, and outcomes.
  • Detect slippage, unresolved dependencies, resource gaps, incomplete decisions, and declining delivery confidence early; drive owned, time-bound recovery actions.
  • When approved resources or capabilities are delayed or unavailable, recommend revised scope, sequencing, interim coverage, or an alternative plan that protects critical enterprise outcomes.

Program Controls and Decision Support

  • Establish common standards for risks, issues, actions, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, intake, prioritization, and change control.
  • Ensure material items have an accountable owner, due date, impact, escalation path, closure criteria, and evidence of completion.
  • Translate delivery data into concise, decision-ready reporting for the Transformation Office, GSINC leadership, SteerCo, and executive sponsors.

Readiness and Cross-Workstream Integration

  • Integrate change, communications, training, adoption, Finance validation, value, deployment, stabilization, hypercare, and transition milestones into the roadmap and delivery reviews.
  • Provide an enterprise view of whether cross-workstream commitments and readiness dependencies are on track, escalating gaps that threaten delivery or value.
  • Coordinate with interdependent enterprise programs so sequencing, release plans, and resource requirements remain aligned.

PMO People and Partner Leadership

  • Build and lead the GSINC PMO across employees, matrixed program and project managers, planners, project controls, agile resources, internal services, and external partners.
  • Set clear roles, outcomes, deliverables, acceptance criteria, coverage models, performance expectations, and knowledge-transfer requirements.
  • Review quality, capacity, and service performance; assign execution responsibility where appropriate while retaining accountability for complete, timely, integrated PMO outputs.

Transformation Office Leadership

  • Operate as a core Transformation Office leader, connecting PMO delivery with strategy, change, communications, Finance, value realization, vendor governance, and sustainment.
  • Provide the Head of Transformation Office with integrated delivery scenarios, recommendations, and cross-functional follow-through while authorized leaders retain enterprise priority, investment, functional, budget, and risk decisions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, operations, strategy, program or project management, technology, finance, legal operations, procurement, life sciences, engineering, organizational transformation, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise program management, transformation delivery, portfolio management, PMO leadership, business operations, implementation, technology-enabled transformation, process improvement, legal operations, procurement, management consulting, or related roles.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-year enterprise, business and/or technology transformations, including integrated planning, deployment readiness, cross-functional issue resolution, recovery planning, and transition to sustained operations.
  • Strong command of portfolio planning, critical-path and dependency management, delivery checkpoints, RAID disciplines, scope control, forecasting, governance, reporting, and delivery assurance.
  • Ability to distinguish material enterprise milestones from local task detail, challenge plans constructively, and translate complex delivery information into clear options and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and lead employees, matrixed teams, and external partners in a complex global organization.
  • Up to 15% domestic and international travel may be required.
  • Master’s degree or advanced education in business administration, operations, strategy, engineering, technology, organizational transformation, program management, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant enterprise program, portfolio, transformation, agile, or continuous-improvement certification preferred.
  • Experience in life sciences or another complex, highly regulated global environment, with exposure to contracting, legal operations, procurement, technology-enabled operations, or global business services preferred.
  • Experience mobilizing an enterprise PMO and using planning and work-management platforms to create authoritative, decision-ready views of delivery preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, process and template standardization, data and AI-enabled transformation, business readiness, value realization, and transition to sustained operations preferred.

Leadership Capabilities:

  • Enterprise integration: Connects strategy, workstream delivery, dependencies, resources, readiness, and value into one coherent enterprise plan.
  • Delivery leadership: Turns ambiguity into credible plans, clear ownership, measurable checkpoints, and disciplined follow-through.
  • Constructive challenge: Tests assumptions and forecasts, identifies risk early, and drives recovery without taking accountability away from workstream leaders.
  • Executive judgment: Converts complex delivery information into concise choices, recommendations, risks, and decisions.
  • People and partner leadership: Builds capability, sets clear expectations, develops talent, and holds internal and external delivery resources accountable for quality and outcomes.
  • Customer and business focus: Keeps business readiness, stakeholder experience, adoption, and intended enterprise outcomes visible in delivery decisions.
