About this job
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
We are growing our Global Communications team and hiring a Director of Product PR to own the global Product PR function and shape Snowflake’s AI narrative. This high-impact leadership role drives communications across the company's end-to-end product portfolio, translating complex innovations into compelling stories. You will lead product launches, AI-native partnerships, M&A communications, and executive visibility, including direct C-level communications strategies. We are looking for a strategic powerhouse and modernized media thinker who can seamlessly pivot from advising the C-suite on high-stakes decisions to architecting 360° global campaigns and immersive press experiences.
AS A DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT PR, YOU WILL:
Own the Global Product PR Function: Shape Snowflake's AI narrative and drive communications across the end-to-end product portfolio. Translate complex innovations into compelling stories and lead PR for product launches, AI-native partnerships, customer success, and more.
Drive Executive Communications: Lead the communications strategy for Snowflake’s product executives, shaping messaging for media interviews, thought leadership, and major product announcements. Develop strategic messaging, keynote narratives, and social content for product leadership.
Manage 360° Integrated Campaigns: Lead communications campaign management for Snowflake's highest-priority initiatives, aligning global teams and delivering integrated campaigns spanning corporate, product, executive, customer, partner, analyst, employee, and social communications.
Modernize Media Strategy: Expand Snowflake's media footprint beyond traditional outlets, securing visibility across podcasts and Substack. Create high-impact, non-traditional journalist experiences, including curated executive dinners and "speed dating" press sessions.
Oversee Flagship Events: Lead communications for major events (Snowflake Summit, BUILD/Expedition, and Snowflake World Tour), driving integrated media programs, executive storytelling, reporter engagement, and press experiences that maximize awareness and business impact.
Lead and Develop Talent: Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-functioning team of PR professionals, fostering a high-performance, AI-native culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Innovate with AI: Build and optimize AI-powered workflows to streamline media monitoring, reporting, content development, and other PR operations, always looking for smarter, faster ways to work.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field, with deep expertise in B2B technology and enterprise SaaS.
Demonstrated people management experience, with a proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and leading high-performing PR and communications teams.
A proven track record of owning global Product PR functions, launching complex technical products, and shaping AI or data narratives.
Extensive experience working directly with C-suite executives on strategic communications, keynote development, and high-stakes media engagements.
Deep expertise in crisis and issues communications, with the ability to remain calm and strategic while advising senior leadership during sensitive moments.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a talent for translating technical product capabilities into compelling, business-outcome-focused content.
A modernized approach to media relations, with strong existing relationships and proven experience leveraging new media (Substack, podcasts) and experiential PR tactics.
Experience managing integrated PR for massive-scale tier-one flagship events and global corporate campaigns.
A natural curiosity about AI and automation, with demonstrated experience building AI-assisted workflows or integrating new tools into day-to-day work.
A bias for action and a builder mentality. You see gaps and fill them without waiting for direction.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
This role requires remote and in-office work at our Menlo Park, CA office.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
