About this job
About CodeRabbit
CodeRabbit is the governance and control layer for agentic software development, helping engineering teams trust the code they ship. AI can generate code faster than people can review and understand it. Teams still need to know whether each change solves the right problem, fits their architecture, and is safe to ship.
We provide independent validation grounded in codebase context and team standards, giving people the evidence they need to judge what should ship. Across Review, Triage, Explain, and Secure, our platform challenges changes before merge, prioritizes pull requests by value, impact, and risk, explains what changed and why it matters, and monitors the codebase for security vulnerabilities after merge.
CodeRabbit serves nearly 20,000 customers and supports approximately 300,000 open-source repositories, performing over 2 million code reviews each week. Our $143M Series C, raised at a $1.5B valuation, supports further product development and international expansion.
Role Overview
As a Global Benefits Operations Manager, you will own benefits across EMEA, APAC, the US, and Canada, working with both our owned entities and EOR partners. You’ll keep our programs compliant and consistent across regions, advise on local requirements, and make sure our people feel supported at every stage.
This is a build role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape a global benefits function from the ground up.
Responsibilities
EOR-to-Entity and PEO Transitions
Lead the benefits workstream for moving countries from EORs to owned entities, partnering with Legal, Finance, and Payroll on plan establishment, statutory enrollments, and employee transition communications
Lead the evaluation, vendor selection, and migration from our PEO to direct US benefits administration, including carriers, brokers, payroll and HRIS integration, and open enrollment readiness
Manage EOR relationships and employees under EORs
Operations and Escalation
Own benefits operations across enrollment, renewals, mid-year changes, and offboarding, with clear SLAs and reliable issue resolution
Serve as the escalation point and advisor for complex benefits, leave of absence, and time off cases, partnering with Legal and brokers as needed
Administer leave policies (parental, medical, disability) and coordinate them across jurisdictions
Ensure benefits information is accurate, current, and consistent across the HRIS, benefits portal, intranet, and handbooks
Design and improve benefits processes and policies so they are clear, scalable, and well documented
Compliance
Ensure compliance with local benefits, insurance, and social security regulations in every operating jurisdiction, adapting practices as rules evolve
Manage US federal and state compliance (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, Form 5500, nondiscrimination testing, state leave and benefits requirements) and Canadian federal and provincial requirements
Flag emerging risks and partner with Legal and outside counsel on country-specific questions
What You Bring
Required
5+ years of benefits experience
Experience managing benefits in a hypergrowth or new-market-entry environment
Strong working knowledge of US benefits (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, 401(k))
Working knowledge of EMEA and/or APAC benefits and statutory requirements, with sound judgment on when to bring in local counsel or advisors
Experience with PEOs and EORs
Experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms
