About this job
Who We Are
Serval is the AI-native enterprise service management platform that automates the work legacy IT service management tools only track. Our AI agents build the automations that power employee support, then resolve requests against them instantly—helping teams across IT, HR, finance, legal, and beyond automate work within one governed platform.
Companies including Fox, Live Nation, Notion, Ramp, and Lucid Motors run on Serval. Headquartered in San Francisco, we’ve raised $277 million from investors including Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, First Round, General Catalyst, and Elad Gil, most recently a $150 million Series C at a $3 billion valuation.
We’re building a team that moves quickly, takes ownership, and wants to make a meaningful impact on how the world’s largest organizations work. Come help us build what’s next for enterprise service management.
The mission
Our Strategic accounts are the biggest logos in the world, and the hardest to get in front of. You'll own field marketing for Serval's Strategic segment, leading a team of field marketers building the 1:1 programs for these accounts. You'll partner side by side with the VP, and regional VPs of Strategic Sales to open doors with CIOs and their leadership teams, build trust over long cycles, and help close the largest deals in Serval's history.
This is a high-touch role: fewer accounts, deeper plays, and a direct line to revenue. Expect scope, budget, and team to grow as the Strategic segment scales and your programs deliver.
Who you are
A strategist who thinks like a seller. You read an org chart, a 10-K, and a Gong call, and know exactly where the opening is.
At home in the C-suite. You can design an experience a Fortune 100 CIO will clear their calendar for, and hold your own in the room.
Creative and relentless. Breaking into the world's largest companies isn't just about budget. It's about timing, creativity, and knowing what matters to the people you're trying to reach.
Allergic to "best practices" that produce mediocre results. You'd rather run one unforgettable play than ten safe ones.
A leader who executes. Like every leadership role at Serval, this one is a combination of execution, strategy and management. You'll set the playbook for the segment, run it yourself, and build the team that scales it. Read how we think about Super ICs and managers.
What you'll do
Own the field marketing strategy for the Strategic segment: which accounts we go after, how we show up, and how we win.
Lead your team in building and running 1:1 abm programs in partnership with the VP and regional RVPs of Strategic Sales, using multi-threaded plays across events, direct mail, gifting, digital, and custom content to reach every stakeholder in the buying group.
Set the bar for the executive-level experiences your team designs: intimate dinners, private briefings, executive roundtables, VIP moments at flagship events, and out-of-the-box plays that make people's jaws drop.
Sit in on deal strategy, not just event execution. Ensure your team knows the pipeline, the champions, and the blockers on every account your team owns.
Partner with Global Events to turn Serval's biggest moments (Summit, flagship conferences, CAB) into tailored experiences for Strategic accounts.
Carry a pipeline target for the Strategic segment and own the budget. Track impact through meetings, pilots started, deal velocity, closed-won revenue, and program efficiency over time.
Manage the field marketers covering Strategic accounts: set goals, coach, and hire as we scale. Raise the bar by leading from the front: run plays yourself, get into the weeds on the biggest accounts, and use what you learn to level up the team.
What we're looking for
7-10+ years in field, ABM, or executive marketing, with at least 3 years focused on Strategic, Global, or Fortune 500 accounts.
Proven track record of 1:1 ABM programs that opened doors and drove measurable pipeline and closed-won revenue on large, complex deals.
Experience marketing to C-suite and senior IT buyers (CIOs, CISOs, VPs of IT), with long sales cycles and large buying committees.
Deep experience partnering with senior sales leaders. You earn trust fast and act as a true deal partner.
Strong operational skills with Salesforce, HubSpot (or similar), sales engagement tools (Amplemarket, Outreach, or similar), event platforms, and intent tools (6sense, Demandbase, or similar).
Strong data skills. You can build reports, interpret account signals, and make data-driven decisions.
Creative thinker who turns a vague goal into a concrete, compelling plan and crushes the execution.
Experience building playbooks and managing a team of field or ABM marketers: setting goals, coaching, and growing people.
Comfortable with 25% travel with variances seasonally
